Mari went back to her friends and thanked us for the help and I think she didn't even recognize me earlier, still not sure though.
”Hey Scy, Mari said thanks. So what's your deal with her?” Why should Akko ask? She's my sister but I can't tell that to her. It's easier when people don't know too much about you.
”I was just being a gentleman. I know if Elou was here, he would rush to her too. Haha.” I think he really would but I won't let him.
”Right, of course!” Akko just laughed but the girls looked at me like I did something bad. They haven't said a single word after that but I can feel it.
”Woot Wooot! The semi-final is almost here and there will be two matches. We will take a break for an hour and be back on time or you will miss the best last matches!” Aika announced. A one hour break, I don't know what to do... maybe visit Emily's inn again as usual
”Hey Scy, you're thinking of going to Emily's inn, right?” Wow did Akko used some kind of mind reading or I'm that just easy to read?
”Yeah, but I'm not sure because it's a long walk. What do you think?”
”Oh don't worry about that, I added her as a friend and she whispered me that she already packed our food and she's on her way here,” Wow, Akko's pretty convenient than Elou.
After a while, Emily arrived and brought us some delicious NLO delicacies. It doesn't look that great but the taste is really good. My Sis should learn from her and not from Azzie.
”Thanks, Emily. You saved us from our undying hunger. Haha!” I said happily after my tummy can't eat anymore.
”It's nothing to worry about. I'm glad that you guys are having fun. I'm sorry for the girls and Elou but you all still are really great!” We're happy that we have her here. Well, I guess we are really doing great. I need to win this!
”Thank you, Emily. I know asking a favor from you earlier is a bit too much. Anyway, Scy really needed the stats boosts for his fight later so your cooking is really a big help for us.”
After all that eating and chitchat with Emily, the semi-final is about to start. People are all here and cheering for the remaining participants and you can feel the heat and intensity of the people. It's more and more suffocating because of the stares and pressure from them. I'm so excited!
”Aheeem Aheeeem... Magic Speaker Test... Aheem Aheeem” It's the old geezers turn to start the semi-final with a speech or something.
”All the participants really did great on their fights and of course some of them won and some of them lost. It is part of the competition and what did matter is, you tried your best. All the effort, pain, sweat and emotions you sacrifice for the past few days or even months will be remembered from this tournament! Godspeed for all of you and have fun!” Old geezer ended his speech and it seems to be encouraging.
