71 Scorching Akko (1/2)
-Order of Light Arena-
Unlike Shade, Armored Guardian is just a regular boss but it's tougher than regular ones. Its defensive capabilities are top notch and can even hold the most powerful attacks but it also lacks some offensive power. Akko wasn't surprised by Deandre's transformation and it seems she even expected it.
”So you got a new Monster Soul but can you really defend from my spells?” I didn't know Akko can be this aggressive!
”You think you can defeat a guy with Monster Soul with just regular skills? Show me what you've really got, girl.” Man, I would be really worried defending against her attacks.
”Ok then, FLAME UP!” Akko is still calm and I guess she really improved a lot from our previous adventures. She doesn't use a wand or staff now as her weapon but only her pure magic stat.
”Let's make things hot shall we? BLAZING AURA!” She released a powerful aura that burns everything it touches.
”UNITY BARRIER!” The supports now used their barrier to protect the people from her aura.
”It's like we are inside an oven! This girl is on fire!” Aika commented.
Deandre still hasn't made his move but I don't think he can do anything right now with the heat inside the arena.
”FLAME HURRICANE!” She released a powerful whirlwind made of fire! The whole arena is burning in flames.
”Ugh... Damn it!” Deandre started to lose a lot of health. Even with his magic protection, he can't win without attacking. With the range between them and the overflowing heat around the arena, he will be having a hard time attacking her.
”GUARDIAN SHIELD RUSH!” He is running towards Akko with his shield up.
”FLAMING WAVE!” This time, Akko released a powerful wave made out of flames! It pushes Deandre back and making him hard to attack.
”Ugh! I never thought I would use this spell on this match. GUARDIAN'S ULTIMATE MAGIC BARRIER!” This time his body is covered in a spherical magic barrier! It nullifies all the magic that will harm him! This is like a cheat skill!
As soon as he cast that spell, he ran towards Akko with great speed. He will not let the opportunity to pass.
”Not bad metal junk! You will now melt like ice cream! BLAZING METEOR!” A large ball of fire appeared above and hit Deandre! It was a total hit and he can't dodge the attack but...
”OVERHEAD POWER SLASH!” He appeared after the explosion unscathed! That magic barrier thingy did a really good job! He jumped and attacked Akko!
”FLAME SHIELD!” She created a shield made out of a fire. That was quick thinking. With low agility, Akko can't evade attacks that much even if she just wears clothes and not using heavy equipment.
”BAAAAAM!” Akko shield got hit by Deandre and exploded! Fire shield doesn't only protect the caster but also deals damage to those who attack her but with Deandre's magic shield he was uninjured.
”Your shield really is annoying,” Akko's starting to lose a lot of mana and patience. Their fight is taking longer than usual.
”You got a good shield too but it won't last that long. SWORD STYLE STANCE! BLADE STORM!” It is one of the advance warrior techniques. Not bad. He once again prepared to attack with the magic barrier on.
”I won't let you! FIRE BULLETS!” Small concentrated fast fireballs flew towards Deandre. Every fireball exploded like they were large fireballs! If Deandre doesn't have that barrier, the attacks would have pierced through his body! The attacks didn't work! He's already at the range to use the attack!
”TAKE THIS!”
*BAAAAM!* Akko once again created a shield and it exploded but Deandre didn't stop from that! He moved even faster this time and connected some attacks more!
”Ahhhhh!” Akko got hit at the back! She was injured this time. With a low constitution, she can't afford to get hit too much.
”I will end it now! BLADE FINISHER!” He prepared a hard swing to defeat Akko for sure this time.
”Your mother would really hate you if she saw you hitting a girl! FIRE BOOSTER!” What the?! She copied my move! Before Deandre hit her with his sword, Akko used fire booster to escape from his range evading his final move.
”Damn girl! Why don't you just stay still?! I can't cut you when you are moving!” Deandre is getting pissed with the events. He could have defeated her earlier but she escaped perfectly in time.
”Sorry for that. But I want you to know that what we did earlier was just a simple warm up.” Akko once again provoked Deandre knowing he's angry and she's out of Deandre's range. Warm up she says but I can tell that she's also having a hard time.
”So much talk from someone who's almost dead. Does your wound hurt?” While walking towards Akko. He's excited to end the match this time.
”Let me show you what a lady like me can do when she's mad. SCORCHING NYMPH'S WRATH!” And now she used it...
