22 Ravens (1/2)

-Near the Center of the Forest-

”By the way, why attack us by yourself? Where are the rest of your group or tribe?” Elves are smart creatures. They won't just attack by their selves.

”As I said earlier, we were raided by your kind. Most of us got captured and few of us escaped. That's why we hunt solo to get more food. Why do you ask these questions as if you know nothing about it?” Hmm, these elf is really angry. Raided huh, it looks like he's not really enjoying the company of humans.

”Well to tell you the truth this is the first time we heard something like that. Anyways, are the humans that raided your village still around here? Because we've been here for hours but we haven't seen any signs of them,” From the looks of his face, I can see that he knows where they are.

”Bunch of guys won't do! There's a hundred of them. They use some metal armor to protect themselves. Even the best of our magicians can't hurt them because they are being protected by some priests who use some kind of magic to nullify our spells,” So they are a well-made group. They can easily eradicate a village with that some kind of force. It's certainly a raid.

”How about we help you save your friends?” I suggested.

”Hey Scy, are you out of your mind? This fellow said that there's a hundred of them and they're well organized. And do you think the others will join us? Jeez,” Elou worriedly said. I know it sounds like a worthless idea but I have a plan.

”Don't worry I have a plan,”

-South Forest-

I left the group where the elf is being held. I returned to the brat to make a report.

”Ms. Celeste, can I talk to you for a sec?”

Most of the players went inside the dungeon. There are no casualties so far and there's also no sign of monsters nearby.

”So, did you find something worth my time?” She asked arrogantly, as always.

”We found an elf and he said that some guild raided their village. Most of them got captured and I think they will be sold as slaves to the black market,” I explained.

”It's not our business, creatures are still considered as monsters so I think it's not what you can call as a crime,” She said, I thought you would be better than that. What's with that thinking? They are still creatures even if they are monsters, they have feelings too. (coming from someone who slaughtered hundreds of them.)

”I heard they said that they are the number one guild and no one can beat them so they just do what they want and no one can stop them. Too bad, I thought Order of Light Guild is the best guild,” I said.

”What the hell? I'm going to murder them! Where are they?!” She yelled. I know my plan would work! Though I lied, she's prideful enough to not see it through.

”Though the elf said the enemy's force is about a hundred, will you bring some of your guards?” I was hoping we get more back up from her.

”Nope, I'm enough to murder those punks! Let's go!” I'm not feeling good about this. Even if she's really that strong, with a hundred foes I don't think she can do it alone.

-Center of the Forest-

We arrived where the elf is being held. We untied him and told him to lead us the way.

”Uhmm, I hope I'm not rude but only five people against a hundred of them?” The elf asked bluntly.

”Shut up, pointy ears! Just do what I asked you to do or you'll be squashed to a pulp!” The elf cowered in fear. You can sense the murderous aura from her.

We managed to sneak up to their camp. It came from far the east part of the grassland that's why we didn't see them in the way.

”I will create a diversion; you girls join me here. Scy and the Robin Hood wanna-be here will sneak out to the cages and let the prisoners escape. You got that?” She ordered silently. I like the new nickname of Elou.

”Wow, that's pretty ru-” Elou...

”Uh uh uh... she's somewhat accurate,” I said and stopped elou from talking.

She focused her mana on the ground and released a tremendous amount of magic!
