223 This island is haunted (1/2)

John Smith and two others reached the Green Island by the evening. Three people were waiting for them at the shore.

”Welcome Mr. Simon. Mr Lee assigned us to welcome you. I am the leader of the security of this shore.” A man came forward and shook his hands with John Smith.

”Thank you Mister . It's really a nice place.” John Smith said .

”Please follow us quickly. We should not waste our time here, otherwise we would not be able to reach there today safely. The spirits are sleeping now.” The man said with a mysterious smile.

”What do you mean by the spirit? Is something bad resides here?”Tonny Heck asked in frightened voice.

”Yes,in this island some spirits come out at the night. They are always keeping their eyes on us. So be careful. Don't do anything which could make the spirits angry. Ok?”The leader said.

”No sir no.How can we do something bad here?We are all frightened about the spirits. Please go quickly.”Tonny Heck replied.

The man nodded and showed them the car waiting for them. The place was calm. They could not see anyone except this three men.

”Why there is no one in this place? There should me some people here.” David asked confusedly.

”Oh man. Now what can I say ?This island is haunted. So no one except our boss lives here. We have to be here for our duty. Otherwise we would never come here. We only come here when our boss is in this place.Please hurry up.” The man explained.

John Smith and others only nodded and followed the man to the car. Nobody uttered a word during the ride. The car reached near a forest. As they reached in the middle of the forest, the driver brake the car suddenly. All of them scared to the death for the sudden brake .Everyone heard the tyres of the car screeched and the car flung forward till it almost crashed into a nearby tree.

The people inside the car was astonished to see it. They somehow managed to hold in the place and sighed in relief to see themselves alive.

”What happened? Why did you brake the car so suddenly? And why the car did not stop even you braked?”David asked worriedly.

”I....I have seen the spirit.” The driver said in frightened voice.

”What?” Everyone asked in shock.

”Yes. I ... I don't know what happened to the car? I did not brake it. But it braked itself and again it went forward. I .... I am sure these is the same spirit, we heard about.” The driver said in worried voice.

”What? The spirit of that girl? Oh my god.Now what will we do? It will not leave us today. Please try to start the car. We have to leave the place as soon as possible.” A man who was sitting behind the leader said .

”Do you know that spirit?” Tonny Heck asked worriedly.

”Oh this island is really scary. We should not come here.” David said worriedly.

The driver was trying to start the engine of the car, but he could not start it. Everyone looked at him worriedly.

”I am trying to start the car. But the engine is not starting. Now what will we do?” The driver said.

The leader got down from the car .

”What happen to this damn car. It is already night. We must leave this place as soon as possible.” A man sitting with Tonny Heck said worriedly.

”Everyone come and please help me. We have to push the car.”The leader checked the engine said.

John Smith signaled Tonny Heck and David and got down from the car and he too followed the man and pushed the car .But the car was not started.

”We have to go there by walking. Everyone please follow me. I know a short way to there. We can reach there by midnight ,if we follow the route. Please hurry up.” The leader said loudly.
