”Yes.Why are you here? Isn't it your lunch time? ” John asked her trying to sound normal.

”Yes boss I know. But I am here with a request ” Zinu said.

”Speak”

Zinu asked with hesitation, ”Boss today I have an important appointment. So, I need half day leave. ”

”What ? Are you mad? It is clearly written on the contract that you can't apply for any type of leave during training period. Miss Zinu, try to be professional. Do you want to lose your job in it's first day itself?” John asked angrily.

Yes, he is angry. He didn't want to let Zinu go anywhere. Although he couldn't see her all the time, but still she was near by. He had been feeling some peace in his heart since morning. Now, he feels some loss, when he heard Zinu.

”Boss, I have done my work for today. And, my appointment is also very important. I just can't cancel it. Please . ” She pleaded.

”Is your that appointment is more important for you than this job? ” He yelled. He felt jealous that something is more important for her .

Zinu felt tears rolling from her eyes, ”She was used to insults of her half sister, but she never had been scolded in workplace. In both previous jobs, everyone respected her, because she is very hard working and efficient. Everyone praised her in her previous jobs. But, in this new job she had to face rudeness of her boss. She knows the importance of this job for her. It is highly paid job. She would be able to provide her son everything he deserves. But, for her, nothing is more important than her son. He is the only sunshine in her life. She could not take any risk of her son.

Although she felt pain, but answered confidently, ”Boss for me, My son is the most important , than any other things in this world. ”

John again felt jealous, but panicked to see the tears on her eyes ,although she tried to hide it. She could not show her weak side to any stranger. So, she tried to keep her tears to break down.

”Ok.You can go. But this is last time. Don't ask for another leave. Now go out. ”

Zinu didn't wait there for a second. She thanked him and left. She could not bear his presence around her. He was so rude. ”What does he think he is? Attitude my foot. ” She was murmuring as she going out of his cabin. In anger, she didn't notice Charlie who was entering the cabin. Charlie chuckled to here her curses.' Boss boss probably pissed off this lady. '
