Zheng Qing had previously provoked Chen An in public, so now that Chen An bypassed him, how could he remain silent?

What everyone could not figure out was that Zheng Qing indeed remained silent.

Chen An battled with the person ranked 97th, but Zheng Qing did not appear at all.

Chen An launched the indexes with satisfaction. There was already a newly activated beast in it, a cute-looking kitten. When he had first been fighting in the battle, it had been moving with agility, waiting for opportunities to attack him from behind.

It was considered a good beast, but the Beast Tamer was not as powerful. He had missed the best opportunity to strike and suffered a terrible defeat.

Chen An looked at the indexes with a satisfied look on his face, studying ways to integrate them.

Someone opened the door; it was Liu Ran.

Previously, Teacher Leopard had told him to carry another plant-based beast. Hence, he had gone searching for them, spending his time at auctions and Treasure Cove.

He sighed as soon as he came back. “Hey, buddy, fate is very amazing. I met you previously, and I obtained the Evening Moon Vine. Why is it that I can’t meet someone like you again?”

This was not the first time Chen An heard the same words. He did not bother to refute and just smiled at him.

Judging from Liu Ran’s expression, he had not managed to find a beast that he liked.

However, he was not discouraged. He sat beside Chen An with a grin on his face as he said mysteriously, “Buddy, I have a question for you. You must promise not to be angry.”

“Tell me about it first.”

Chen An thought to himself, If I really get angry, I will have to hit his head.

“What did they say?” In fact, even if Liu Ran did not say it, Chen An could probably guess what those people were talking about.

“They said you were scared. Zheng Qing directly challenged the person ranked 10th, while you challenged the opponents ranked last. Even for other people, they would not challenge the ranking in this manner.”

“Then how do other people do it?”

“If they are powerful, at the very least, they will bypass those ranked at the bottom. They will then be able to move up the ranks and get to battle with the higher-ranking Beast Tamers as soon as possible. Everyone does it this way. If I were as strong as you, I would directly challenge those who have a higher ranking.”
