53 What is that Stopwatch for? (1/2)
Fred drove them to Velma's house where Chris was actually quite excited going to. It was a modest house with a living room, 3 bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms. The decor was normal, nothing too flashy. The gang went inside Velma's room which only had bookshelves, a bed, a closet, and a desk which had a desktop on it.
'As expected. Not as girly as Daphne's,' Chris thought as everyone found a spot to sit at.
”Well guys, great job at capturing the pig. Although not everything went according to plan, we improvised well,” Fred said.
”Yeah, Chris did a great with the bola even though I don't know where in the world he got that from,” Daphne said.
”Ehh, it seemed like a decent thing to have since we do miss the target a lot of the times. Of course, it won't work on monsters like the Tar Creature that we caught a long time ago,” Chris said.
”Yeah, that was years ago,” Velma said reminiscing the past.
”Oh yeah check this out,” Chris said as he took out the stopwatch he found inside Bob's suit. It was made out of silver and looked pretty old. Inside the watch was a small rectangle.
”Is that what took you so long?” Velma asked.
”Yep. I found it inside the pig suit,” Chris said.
”Like Chris, what's so good about this watch. I mean it looks older than my granddad hahahahaha,” Shaggy said.
”Reah hehehehehe,” Scooby said as he used his tail as a cane and acted as if he was an old grandpa.
”Quit it you two,” Fred said. ”Interesting, so how did Bob get this watch?”
”He said he found it inside the sewer. Well I'm guessing he cleaned it which was the reason why I was alright with taking it,” Chris said.
”Well it better be because I don't want anymore nasty sewer smell on my Fuuci skirts,” Daphne said.
”So why'd you pick it up? It seems like a regular old stopwatch that someone threw away,” Velma asked.
”I don't know. It just seems special, but I can't really point my fingers at exactly what,” Chris said. He turned it around to see if there was anything on it that seemed special. On the backside of the watch was an initial.
