54 Time Stops Sometimes Unedited (2/2)

Her heart quivered and her fingers shook as she took a deep breath that did nothing to calm her nerves. Slowly she turned the watch around... her trembling fingers brushed against the inscription as she gasped slowly trying to hold back her overflowing emotions.

It was him.

God it was him.

She gasped for breathe trying to control her tears. Why was she crying even now? She sniffed placing a finger above her lips, trying calm herself down.

She put the watch down and quickly started to freshen up and threw some clothes on just rushing through everything.

She was surprised to see guards standing outside her room who seemed equally taken aback to see her.

Actually they were surprised to see her red eyes and frantic state. Their boss had clearly stationed them here and said that if anything happened they were to report to him, right before he'd hurried out of there himself.

Qiu Yue didn't have time to ask or think about why they were stationed there and just went downstairs to hail a taxi.

It wasn't that far from the agency anyways, but it wasn't that close either. By the time she'd hailed a cab and left the guards had finally been able to get in touch with Qiao Feng, informing him of what had happened. This only increased his worry.

Things were already going out of hand with the scandal in row and now he just couldn't help but feel like Qiu Yue regretted their night together.

Someone had gotten hotel staff on interview and published an entire slew of articles in the morning exaggerating and stretching to truthto another level. They had spun the story of a picture of them taken out the hotel completely out of context.

Or well if you thought back to last night... completely in context.

Well either way it wasn't a good thing. And now if Qiu Yue regretted last night?

Qiao Feng froze on his seat, not wanting to think further.

Fan Yin looked at his unusually flustered and worried friend with concern.

Trying to make light of the situation he spoke up.

”Want to went about your problems to a friend? You have many young ladies who would die to have a chance with you, you know?”

He wiggled his eyebrows suggestively.

Qiao Feng just sighed.

”Am I an idiot? When I've already decided on someone... what sort of a stupid person do I have to be to go and vent to another woman? If she doesn't hate me now, that'll seal the deal.”

”I need to go downstairs, see the media. Somehow control this situation.”

Though he seemed cool like always Fan Yin could tell that nothing was okay. After being with the person he'd fallen for in a mere few months, Qiao Feng would be broken if she refused him. How could he let go?

The situation outside wasn't that disorderly. Sure the media was hounding them for any sound byte they could get but currently they were all in the waiting area near the gate.

Qiao Feng walked out of the front gate, onto the street intersection right as a can pulled onto the corner.

Seeing his silhouette from behind, Qiu Yue called out to him, ignoring the consequences of doing so in the middle of the street, for all to see.

”Feng! Qiao Feng!”

His entire body seemed to stand still the moment he heard her, turning around in surprise with an anxious expression on his face.

Qiu Yue's heart turned event softer and she immediately ran towards him, jumped onto him, her arms around his neck, with such force that she sent him stumbling backwards.

Then without waiting for him to say anything, she lifted her chin to look right at him and gave him a soft smile, before slowly inching closer where their lips finally met. His lips on hers right now felt softer and gentler than any flower petal she'd touched.

And so, in the middle of the street, for all to see, they both pulled each other close into a kiss that felt like it was dipped in honey, showering them both with sweetness.
