”How good to see the great king here. Oh, I see a guest as well. My honor to meet the great king, Lord Alexander.” suddenly they heard a voice out of nowhere.

...

Gerard's eyes were fixed at his front, showing no interest to look at the person whereas Alexander's immediately pin pointed from where the voice came. He gave a deadly stare at the man standing near the stairway; a floor above them. Dressed in all black, his black eyes stared back at Alexander. His facial features were not at all impressive but the aura around him was dominating. But nothing compares to Alexander. The man started climbing down the stairs, intentionally putting pressure on each steps so as to show his dominance. The click clack of the shoes echoed in the empty house. Alexander could easily hear the man's heartbeat which was steady but loud. He tried to supress his nervousness and acted all fine... this is what Alexander observed.

”Pleasure to meet you, Lord Alexander.” the man took his right hand forward for a handshake but soon withdrew it.

”Oh sorry, let me introduce myself first. My name is David.” his face broke into a formal smile as he went forward for a handshake.

Looking at the hands Alexander calmly put his hands in his coat's pocket. He would never touch that hand which killed his brother Jacob. The very presence of this man was irritating. Alexander maintained his calm as he wished to kill this person right away. But no, he had already planned for something more torturous and painful.

Looking at how his hand was still waiting for the handshake, Alexander smirked.

”It's definitely nice to meet you, David.” chills ran down David's spine when he heard icy cold voice. His hands slightly trembled when he retracted his hands back to his side.

”David, we have something to discuss.” Gerard finally spoke.

”Sure, why not? Let us move to the room.” David turned around to head towards the room.

”We will talk here.” Gerard ordered.

Turning around David titlted his head, his lips pursed.

”Are you afraid, Milord?” he smiled and gritted his teeth at the same time.

When Alexander watched the sinister smile form across David's face, he already understood that this person wouldn't be easy to handle.

”We aren't here to waste time.” Gerard couldn't control his temper. This man was annoying.

”I will respect your decision this time. Next time don't forget to ask your servants to serve us tea. We will have a tea party.” David started walking towards them till he reached Gerard. They were separated by hardly half a meter.
