Chapter 220 - Apology (1/2)

Rachel finished her drink and lay down on the bed as Jessica entered the room a little worried ”What is it?”

Rachel closed her eyes and said lazily ”Robert wants to talk to you.”

Jessica looked at him without saying anything but he could read it from her eyes ”What do you want now.”

He didn't say anything at first but then he said in a tone that was barely audible ”I am sorry.”

Rachel looked at him furiously ”Are you serious, even I didn't hear that and she is standing in the other corner how is she supposed to hear it.”

Robert looked at her sheepishly like a child who is scolded after a mischief. Jessica had read his lips and already figured out what he was saying but she enjoyed seeing the most arrogant man in front of her suppress himself in front of someone, she let out a chuckle which made Robert glare at her.

Rachel hit his arm ”Stop looking at her like you wanna kill her, she is your sister.”

Jessica laughed louder and finally Robert spoke turning to Rachel like a child complaining to his mother ”I can't do this, if she keeps laughing at me.”

Rachel let out a small chuckle and a word slipped out of her ”You are so cute.”

His eyebrows creased and Rachel realized what she had said, he puffed up his cheeks and sat next to her and placing her head on his legs ”I am not doing it.”

Rachel looked at him with a cute face ”I am sorry, I promise I won't make fun of you.”

He didn't say anything but moved his head in a no, she tried to convince him a few more times but he didn't agree when finally Jessica spoke ”It's okay Rach, I am used to it and I am not mad at him.”

As she turned to move out Rachel spoke ”Wait, please give him a chance.”

Jessica stepped in and sat on Rachel's chair next to her dressing table ”Alright but let me remind you, I do have to go to school so you need to be quick.”

Rachel looked at him once again but he was not looking at her, she knew if she could only make him look at her, she could convince him but she was not sure about that either. She racked her brain and came up with an idea and smiled. She slowly got up placing a hand on her stomach which was still paining and she finally got Robert's attention, he frowned as he looked at her ”What do you think you are doing?”

She didn't say anything but smiled at him, he was sitting with his back resting to the back of the bed and his legs straight on the bed. Rachel looked at him mischievously and then sat on his legs, pressing the rest of her body to his chest. He body stiffened, he could not let her turn him on because if it got worse, he would not be able to stop and he knew he could not do anything to her right now because she was not well.

Her hands moved into his hair and she moved her lips closer to his ear and said seductively ”Please do it and I promise to kiss you.”

Robert swallowed hard, his breathing was fast and irregular, he closed his eyes and spoke with all the self control he could muster ”Don't do this to me Rachel.”
