Charles could not bear to hear Jamie shriek so he tried even harder to free himself but failed everytime. He looked around for a way to escape as Jamie's shouting got louder.

Jacob's brother looked into her eyes wet with tears, the corners of his mouth twitched and he looked straight into her eyes placing one hand on her waist and the other on her belly ”Oh, I remember you are pregnant. How would it feel to lose the baby.”

Jamie struggled hard to get out of his grip but it tightened and the hand on the belly went to her wrist which was rotated making Jamie scream on top of her voice. Charles tried hard to get out of their grips and save her when suddenly the sirens of police cars were heard outside and all the people were arrested. Charles took Jamie in his arms as James and Daisy entered. Daisy ran towards her best friend and punched her softly on her arm ”I wasted my tears for you.”

Jamie smiled and gave her a tight hug ”You won't get rid of me that easily.”

”Of course”

As the 2 friends enjoyed the moment James punched Charles in his face ”You could have told me earlier.”

Charles smiled ”I am sorry, all my conversations were being heard and my car was being followed so you were the first person I sent the video of my conversation with Rachel and Jamie's address because I knew he would be here tonight.”

”I would have killed you if you had fallen for Rachel.”

Charles went to Jamie and hugged her ”I would never, my wife is the only one I love and if she was dead that day, I would not have returned as well.” Jamie blushed and then they all headed home.

The next day Rachel and Jordan came over to their place and apologized. Jamie hugged Rachel ”Don't worry I understand your condition but please be careful in future.”

She nodded ”You are such a nice person and Charles is so lucky to have you.”
