Seeing his companion dead without being able to do anything freaked out the Marine but he knew that he had to kill this man or he would be sentenced to death for failing to protect a World Noble.

He transformed into a lizardman covered in green scales, he was using his devil fruit which transformed his body into that of an alligator which granted him enhanced strength, speed, defence and senses.

As Nate saw the transformation he was fascinated by the powers of the devil fruit since this was his first time seeing one in action. Although he was interested in the powers of the devil fruit, he still had his guard up as he rushed in toward the Marine and slashed him from his back.

Even though his attack connected all he did was break some of the scales as he couldn't peirce through the enhanced defence from the devil fruit and Haki combined. Though he was able to somewhat paralyse and slow down the movements of the Marine with the help of his lightning.

With the enhanced defence he gained through his transformation, the Vice Admiral managed to exchange few moves with Nate but he was still not able to stop Nate.

Nate continously used his lightning to hit on the same spot weakening it overtime and finally he was able to breach his defence. After which he used his lightning to kill the Vice Admiral from within.

After killing the Marine, Nate deactivated his technique. While gritting his teeth and bearing the pain Nate observed his surroundings. He saw that all of the Marines where unconscious from his Haki and the sisters have managed to escape during his fight. He also noticed the other slave that was chained, he went towards the slave and notice that it was a female and she was conscious, she seemed to be of around 15 years old with tanned skin. She has long red hair tied into a little ponytail and thin eyebrows. She reminded him of the Fanalis from Magi.

”Now that's a surprise!” he heard Baal within his mind ”I didn't expect to see a descendant of the Fanalis tribe in this world.”

”You are telling me she is a Fanalis??!” asked Nate shocked ”How is she still chained then?! Knowing their superior strength she would have been able to break out of it if she wanted to.”

”She is not pure blood.” said Baal ”Her blood has been diluted so much that she isn't that much better than normal people of this world by now.”
