275 Terrifying display of power (1/2)

Dexter's tightly clenched fists emitted a bone-cracking sound. His face showed an ugly expression and the rage in his heart had never before burned so hot. He stared at Knight's handsome face, letting out a cold laugh as he said: ”You will pay for everything, David!”

”You guys don't have any idea about my origins or who I really am? Yet, you thought you can simply mess with me just because I come from Avelon?”

Ignoring Dexter's words, Knight said looking at Sterling and the people of House Moonwin.

”David, don't be rude now, you may have some talent to reach the Peak Grandmaster at this young age like us, but that doesn't mean you come to our territory and disrespect us” hearing Knight, Milan's expression slowly turned cold as he said while fanning himself. Initially, Milan didn't want to meddle in the issue but after hearing Knight act so high and mighty, he couldn't help but warn him.

”It doesn't matter who you are or your origins, if I kill you right here and now, no one here will open their mouth, whoever behind you, will have no idea what happened to you here”

Sterling's words were cold and unfriendly as the golden trident slowly materialized itself in Richard's hands.

”No one except your girlfriend there, we won't kill her but she will beg for death, know what I mean?”

Everyone in the hall knew about Richard's lust for beauties and even with the veil covering Lia's face, they could see her pretty face and sighed hearing Richard's word. Lia felt like worms crawling all over her body when Richard winked at her and licked his lips as she stepped closer to Knight.

”Hand over the Energy Armament you took from Dexter and apologize for your words and I'll not kill you”

Sterling looked like he didn't hear Richard's words as he said to Knight.

His status in the southern Elvelon and in the House Windfield was extremely high, among the younger generation, no one dared to refute him.

Besides, the House Windfield and Empress had a good relationship so even if Knight was the son of the Avelon Emperor, he didn't need to worry about their retaliation considering the Empress and Elvelon were far more powerful than Avelon.

”You are standing on Elvelon, Just based on that one word you used to call us, I can arrest and punish you according to our rules”

Sterling's expression was ice-cold, he suddenly took one step forward, as a Peak Grandmaster's terrifying aura directly erupted out, before ruthlessly oppressing Lia's body like a mountain.

Under that exceedingly powerful aura, Lia's knees abruptly bent. Soon after, her eyes turned scarlet red as she forcefully resisted the pressure, while the bones in her body continuously emitted creaking sounds, as if they were bearing a heavyweight.

”what?!”

Upon seeing that they could actually resist kneeling under his aura, the coldness in Sterling's eyes turned even chillier, while the pressure of his aura grew increasingly stronger, such that, even the ground where Lia and Knight stood was forcefully broken with a bang.

However, his icy cold look took a 180 turn when he saw the magical fluctuations around Knight's body.

”Mid Heavenly level, OH MY GOD!”

Someone from the crowd shouted immediately as everyone's faces turned pale in fear, including Loretta who took a step back. Knight didn't hold back his aura as the Glimmer transformed his aura into Mid Heavenly level magical fluctuations.

The Life Energy in Sterling's body frantically circulated, battling the pressure which caused him to be unable to move. Only now did he finally and thoroughly understand why he seemed calm and cool even facing prominent figures like him and Richard.

Now the tables had turned and it was Sterling and the rest who were feeling the pressure around them as they tried not to fall to kneel down, while their gazes frantically flickered.

”How is this possible?”

Loretta thought she was the one blessed by the gods to reach the Heavenly level at such a young age but now, she was proven wrong again.

A moment after being shocked by Knight's cultivation level, a glimmer of delight appeared in Martian's heart thinking that they befriended a Mid Heavenly level mage like Knight, unlike House Moonwin. He was even more powerful than his father and his father was a prominent figure in Lakewood, so if he actually came to Lakewood, he would be a core Elder which was a position just below the Sect leader himself.

”Big brother Richard!”

When Dexter saw Richard's scarlet red face, as if the blood was about to drip out from his skin, Dexter shouted in panic. He was completely duped but Knight and if Richard got himself killed by David, he did not doubt that the elders will punish him for messing with a Mid Heavenly level.

”You were saying?”

But before Richard could say anything, Knight pulled him like a powerful magnet, pulling a metal towards itself.

Loretta saw Richard gasping for air as Knight lifted Richard by his neck.

No one in the hall was able to move their bodies and no matter how hard the people of House Moonwin tried to go and save Richard, they couldn't even move a muscle against Knight's force.

”Put...me...down”

Those words barely escaped Richard's mouth as his face started to turn purplish-blue because of the lack of oxygen in his body. However, instead of answering Richard, Knight grabbed the golden Trident in his hand.

Splash!

The next moment Lia saw him grabbing the Trident, she saw a red liquid splash across the ground, and only after a few seconds, she realized that the red liquid was actually Richard's blood.

”NO!”

Dexter screamed as everyone looked terrified looking at Richard's twitching body on top of the Golden Trident.
