251 Unexpected turn of events III (1/2)
Nanbu had an ugly expression on his face while Vivian also looked green.
”Where do you shitheads live? What are you doing in Virnam?”
Reghys growled feeling the resistance from his mind but she was able to overpower his mental power and bring him back to his trance state.
”I don't know, we are hunting in Virnam”
”Hunting?!”
Vivian's anger exploded like a volcano and punched him in the face as several yellow teeth were knocked out from his mouth.
”Lady Vivian, Guardian Reghys, we need to scour our kingdom and find these disgusting creatures”
Vivian and Reghys nodded at the same time and started to plan in their mind as an evil grin appeared on the old man's face. They had a bad feeling when they saw the creepy smile on his face and Reghys was slightly shocked because he was in a trance state that prevents the brain from showing any emotions.
”And to kill the chosen one!”
”WHAT?!”
Vivian let out a small scream as Nanbu and Reghys felt a sudden coldness that hit the core.
”What did you say?!”
Nanbu grabbed the old man by his collar and shook him.
”Hahahaha”
The old man started to laugh evilly while a puff of black smoke emerged from his head scattering Reghys's spell.
”We killed the chosen one! Hahaha”
His words echoed through the castle,
”How could a puny human like him be a challenge to the Great one?”
The three of them stood there in shock as the old man continued
”Soon the Great one will return and purify this world”
He paused for a moment and looked at the three of them like they were his prey.
”By choosing to follow the chosen one, you all will meet the same fate as your king, hahaha”
”Did you kill him?”
The intense murderous aura from Reghys enveloped the entire room and Vivian and Nanbu felt like they were being squeezed by an invisible force.
”I would have loved to, but no, I was denied the pleasure of stabbing my sword through his heart and eat his liver,”
The moment he said this, the door exploded into pieces as a short burst of wind blasted the old man backward.
”AH!”
”Arrora!”
Before Reghys could stop her, Arrora moved towards him like a bolt of lightning and grabbed him by his neck, and lifted him up with the chair that he is tied to.
The killing intent radiating from Arrora overpowered the aura of Reghys. Nanbu and Vivian were barely able to breathe and looking at Arrora's figure, they stepped back unconsciously in fear.
”Where are they now?!”
Reghys feared that she would kill him as she put all of her power and put him into the trance state again, so he would tell the truth and avoid being killed by her.
”I...don't...know...Only...One...know, AHHHHH!”
”Hahaha, you...must be his...bitch”
The moment the spell broke, the old man wickedly laughed.
”Torture me however you want but I can't tell the things that I dont know, hahaha”
”REGHYS!”
Hearing Arrora's shout, Reghys cast the spell again
”Who else knows about the attack?!”
”Noa and Teru”
”Why?”
Nanbu quickly asked before Arrora crush another set of bones and kill the old man in anger.
”One promised him the Weludin and Emir, AHHHH!”
Just as he was talking, a splash of blood sprayed on the ground and Nanbu saw Arrora ripping the old man's handoff from his shoulder bone. Due to the handcuffs, his flesh was completely torn off as the blood sprayed out of his body and then, the unthinkable happened.
The moment Arrora ripped his hand and flesh, his skin completely fell off from his body and revealed a skinless human figure. (Like the anatomy figures in the science lab)
”Shit!”
Vivian almost threw up in her mouth looking at the creature in front of her. The skin fell from his body like he was wearing the skin like clothing. Since there was little to no muscle in the old man's body, they could see the organs and the bones in his body.
”What are you?”
”We are Sinners”
He looked creepier without his skin and his muscle fibers in the face slightly moved and revealed a weird look.
”What else do you know about the hit on Don?!”
”Nothing”
”Where is your main camp? where can I find more of you?!”
”I...don't know”
