235 Arwen’s anger I (1/2)

In Agoria, he was constructing steamboats. Compared to the airships, submarines, and the undefeatable navel force they had in his time, the steamboats were primitive technology to him.

At the current moment, they had neither the resources nor the technologies to build an airship nor submarine. But for the next couple of years, the steam boats could dominate this current world.

The design of the steamboats was a simple one. With the help of the dwarves and Reghys, he showed a group of people in Everlight how to build a steam engine. The group was handpicked by Knight so they wouldn't leak the secret of making these engines. To make the engine work, the three were required, water or salt water from the ocean, life energy stone, and a special type of rune to create heat from the life energy stone without damaging the other parts.

Ken saw his granddaughter drew this rune at least a hundred times and because of that, it wasn't hard for Ken to teach Nikalas the rune. The rune would guide the heat from the energy stone to the water to create steam that would push the boat forward rather than the traditional sails that used the wind to go from one place to another.

Knight ordered only to use steam engines to create warships at this moment. He didn't trust the people of Agoria to give them steam engines because someone could steal the engine and weaponize that against them.

However with the coins, Ken gave it to the shipbuilders in Agoria, they could build at least fifty big boats to go fishing and transport goods, since they needed boats as soon as possible. They were also building cargo ships and training people from Everlight to manipulate the wind, so they could control the sails rather than depending on the natural direction of the wind blow.

Ken planned to build concrete boats and give them to the people of Agoria but at the moment, people hadn't found any use for the limestone and because of that, no one was mining limestones. He planned to go to Emir and find a limestone deposit after they root the water spirit in Emir.

”Hey, Vivian”

Knight came into the apex hall and saw Vivian was stepping out of the apex.

”Whoa”

She was startled as she didn't notice Knight entering the hall.

”General Knight, you almost gave me a heart attack”

When she first met Knight, she was shocked beyond words as before she went into a coma, a grandmaster beast was like a god-level being.

”Aren't you going to Agoria to pick your new recruits?”

both of them plunged into the chairs as Vivian shook her head.

”Not yet, let Nanbu train them the basics”

”Have you talked with Nikalas?”

”Yes”

”What did he say?”

”Surprisingly, he encouraged me to do so”

His eyes widened in surprise as she smiled

”He said it would be good for my mind to do something else other than spending all my time with him and talk about the past”

”Well, he was right, just be careful and dont try to do anything stupid in anger, you hear me?”

Knight didn't want her to go and mess with Harold because of what he did or didn't do to Nikalas.

If it wasn't for the Cold Moon Palace behind Darlene, he would let Vivian walk all over Harold and until they become powerful enough to destroy the Cold Moon Palace, they had to put up with Harold.

”I heard about everything, General Knight, I won't risk the lives of everyone here for the sake of my anger, trust me”

The smile disappeared from her face and replaced with the gloomy expressions

”Good, just be patient until we can take on that sect, and then, you can do whatever you want to Harold”

”Joel, I don't think anyone's coming to welcome us, let's just go to the place and finish our task”

At the moment Arwen and a small group of elves were wearing magical masks standing on the border of Mairis.

They could have gone straight to the Capital of Mairis using the teleported but Joel insisted on informing the king about their visit because unlike the other kings, Enrico had a policy stating that any visitors from the other kingdoms should inform him in advance. Even though they could enter Mairis without informing King Enrico, he might take it as a sign of disrespect in case Arwen and his group were found out.

So Don didn't want to take that unnecessary risk, so he already sent a messenger informing them about their entry.

”Look”

As Arwen finished complaining, Joel pointed at the sky and they saw Prince Rodrigo flying towards him on a giant eagle.

”What is he doing here?”

Arwen heard about his fiasco with Don and he was glad that Don kicked his ass.

”Where's your king? I was hoping to meet him again”

It was the words that came out of his mouth when he landed on the ground.

”Prince Rodrigo, we didn't expect that you would come to welcome us”
