195 The Sixth Wave (1/2)
All of the people's eyes were on the last contenders, Knight, Don, Audrey, and the last remaining contestant of the star empire. Unlike Don, Audrey, and the youth, Knight was smiling considering the ogre couldn't vanish or run around so fast.
”What is he doing?”
The tigress saw Knight running straight to the ogre while evading the fire breath. When Knight stood up in his two legs, he was able to reach the ogre's stomach as he slashed the ogre.
The ogre, however, didn't seem to mind the cut in his gut as it swung the lava pillar in his hand at Knight. He had already covered his paws with battle energy, so when the pillar got closer, Knight punched the pillar as many cracks started to appear on the pillar's surface.
The force of the punch disoriented the ogre and Knight didn't give it time to steady itself as Knight leaped higher and poked the ogre's eyes.
”Grrrrrrrrrr!”
Losing its eyes, the ogre screamed in agony.
”Kill that bastard”
Arrora cheered for Knight forgetting about the incident that happened earlier.
After losing its eyes, the ogre couldn't see its opponent as it started to swing and breathe fire aiming at everywhere.
Because of his super reflexes, he dodged and evaded the attacks and returned the favor by clawing and landing punches on the ogre's body.
The ogre's fire melted the dead bodies lying around in Knight's arena and the more damage he did to the ogre, the more violent it became.
When he realized that the ogre wasn't going down, Knight leaped again and landed on the ogre's shoulder.
The crowd gasped for air when they saw Knight standing on the ogre's shoulder while it violently swung its pillar and tried to swat Knight with its other hand.
”Let's see how you deal against this”
Knight said as a thin layer of hell flames covered his claws, the layer was so thin as the crowd couldn't even notice.
Knight dug the ogre's neck with his claws as the claws entered into the flesh like a sharp knife cutting a banana.
”GRRRRRRR!!!!”
The dark red blood sprayed out of the ogre's neck as it screamed in agony but soon its scream turned into mad laughter.
”Huh?”
Hearing the ogre laugh, Knight was confused and so was the crowd.
But suddenly the laughter stopped and the ogre's body started to grow big like a balloon.
”Oh shit”
Knight realized that the ogre is doing something crazy and suicidal as he quickly jumped down from its shoulder. Yet, Knight was too late as the ogre exploded and the blast of the explosions was so powerful as everyone thought that Knight was too exploded with the ogre.
When the dust cleared in Knight's arena, the whole arena was painted with the ogre's blood and guts but there was no sign of Knight.
”Look”
Arrora sighed looking at Knight stand up on his feet and shaking away the dust from his body.
”It can't be”
Kight saw the people looking at him shocked as he realized that the blast accidentally pushed him into the light gateway.
He wanted to throw a tantrum and destroy the building but he calmed himself as he walked towards the tigress and Arrora.
But when he was walking, unexpectedly someone from the crows started to clap as more and more people clapped.
Even though he was shocked and surprised, he turned his head and waved at the crowd
”Thanks, everyone”
”Look at that, a civilized beast”
Rosaline snickered looking at Knight wave at the crowd.
After Knight, the youth from the star empire ran out of energy and strength to fight the ogre as he used his remaining energy to run into the light gateway barely escaping the ogre's fire breath.
Following his escape, everyone's gaze landed on the remaining two contestants, Princess Audrey and Don.
”He's not doing good? Is he?”
Knight saw the blood dripping out of the cuts on Don's body and the burn wounds caused by the ogre's pillar.
”How can he?”
Arrora was returned to her previous mindset as she asked Knight in anger.
At the moment, Don's battle energy was split into two, one part of the energy was trying to soothe the pain in his chest as the other part was used by Don to battle. To use a powerful weapon like the bow of Arjuna, Don needed his full concentrated energy yet he was fighting with the ogre with half of his power.
