182 The treasures belong to me (2/2)

Knight frowned hearing Arrora's question as Don answered

”Fifteen”

Arrora shook her head

”No, nineteen rings, four people had extra one ring inside the rings we stole”

”Let me guess, they belong to some fancy sect or academy”

”Yep, Cold Moon Palace and the Redland Academy, I saw the books with their emblem”

”Well, what can we expect from those criminals? ”

Knight shrugged

”Nightmare, take the valuables from the rings and bury the rings here”

Don said as Arrora nodded and began to rob the things inside the rings.

”So that building seems to have only alchemical supplies?”

Don noticed some people going into the building while others walked passed it after reading the board near the building that says

”House of Alchemy”

”I don't know who named it but whoever picked that name must be the least creative person in the world”

Knight said.

After a few minutes, Arrora had finished rummaging through the space rings and transferred the pills into her own space ring that Don gave her.

”So, this is what you guys were doing in the other world?”

Brushing away the mud and dust from her hand as she said.

”It's one the things we did”

”Oh? Like what?”

The three of them started to walk towards the Pagoda

”You really want to know?”

”I won't judge”

Don didn't mind telling her as it wasn't a big deal to hide this from her

”If you must know, assassinations, heists, kidnapping, destroying as well as retrieving things, to put this in short, we would do anything if you pay us the right amount, but we don't do jobs that would affect the poor and innocent, like killing or robbing a poor man ”

Arrora couldn't quickly wrap around her mind imagining Don as a mercenary since, in her mind, he was a king and a good friend of her.

”Besides, our services were extremely expensive, so normal people couldn't afford it”

”So if your services were that expensive, why did you guys rob people?”

”It's fun, easy money, and we were damn good at it”

Pride was flowing out of his eye when he talked

”What about the thing you used back there? Shouldn't have we taken that with us?”

”The thorn fence? It'll turn into ashes in a day, it's a one-time use item”

When the three of them reached the door, Knight and Don turned back to see if anyone's coming their way and saw a group of ten or so people at the distance.

”Come”

Don said and entered the building. When they stepped inside the building they were welcomed by green mountains, forest, birds, and thick life energy lingering in the air. This place was really favorable to cultivation.

”Another pocket realm”

The building was just a physical representation as the door was the portal to this pocket realm.

”A very dense Life energy. It is even slightly better than our place”

Arrora felt refreshed and amazed by the environment. The differences in the density of the life energy between this environment and the outside world were comparable to that of heaven and hell. It certainly felt like a holy land.

”It's very hard to imagine that there is such a place with this much pure and dense life energy. This environment is definitely suitable for cultivating, anyone will be able to gain a lot while cultivating here. One day of cultivation here will probably be equal to ten days of cultivation outside.”

Arrora's eyes glittered with amazement. She was constantly looking around the environment, confirming that this place was indeed a true 'Holy Land' for cultivating.

”Hahaha! Then there must be a treasure in this place!”

Knight laughed as Arrora got a little confused hearing the confidence in his voice.

”Wolf, how can you tell?”

Arrora asked.

”Isn't this simple? Look at those flowers and grasses, they are blossoming and well grown. And she's saying that this place is filled with life energy. There must be a reason for this place to exist. I guess there must be some kind of treasure that causes this sort of thing to happen, it has to be it and even if we can't find the treasure or I'm wrong, I'm sure that we would find rare herbs and plants in this place”

Knight explained as Arrora noticed Don taking something from his space ring.

It was a lock attached to a silver thick chain and Don placed the lock on the door as he injected battle energy to the lock.

The lock started to shine and vibrate

”What are you doing?”

”Nightmare, he's locking the door so no one can get out or a new group can get in”

”What if there's another door?”

”Open your eyes, Nightmare, this is not a building to have more doors, it's a pocket dimension, they usually have only one portal to get in or get out, also I can't sense any other doors”

”Let's go to the deeper region to find out more.”
