This place is a long way from the capital, so I think it's strange that it will stop there without going through the capital's entrance, there must be some passage that leads directly to the church or somewhere that exists in the middle of the capital.

”I have to get out of here.” If Endl didn't get out of here the priest would see him, so he ran to where he had just come to hide in the other corridor, he is happy that he created magic as convenient as this to increase his speed.

Endl just has to stay here as long as he can until they give up, if it doesn't he will have to look for the way out alone, or will have to force the priest to get him out of here somehow.

And that will be the most difficult option, so he hopes to be able to hide.
