Chapter 1966 (2/2)
”Research room.” Hans didn't look at Emory either. He went around him and ran out.
”Stop!”
Hans hesitated for a while, then slowly stopped, did not turn around, ”Daddy, what else?”
”Have you worked out an antidote?”
Hans was silent.
”It's a good thing,” said Emory with a smile. ”Elizabeth fainted. I'm as worried about her as you are. Now, it's the antidote. You go to get the antidote, what are you still doing
Hans turned around in disbelief, his face complex, surprised and gratified: ”Daddy, do you think clearly?”
Don't stop him?
Not going to wait until after the wedding to give Elisabeth the antidote?
Emory sighed. ”You, daddy, just think about it. How can you really ignore Elizabeth's body? Now she's in a coma. Even if daddy wants to give her the antidote after the chaos, it won't work. ”
Hans looked puzzled. Why didn't it work?
”Who will be your bride, Elizabeth, who is unconscious?” Emory coughed softly, and the tiger's face glared at him.
Hans suddenly realized, chuckled and said, ”so it is.”
Hans turned and walked away. After a few steps, he turned back. ”Daddy, you didn't let me down.”
Emory smiled kindly, waved and urged him to go.
Hans's back disappeared in sight, and Emory's smile at the corner of his lips was almost over.
He clasped his hands and held them gently. His eyes were dark in the abyss. Hans, don't blame daddy.
Daddy is for you.
Hans took the antidote and came out of the lab.
