1707 Extreme Cold (1/2)

Crawling on both sides of the walls was spider-web of black tree vines. Judging from the thickness of the vines, it was at least hundreds of years old. Just like their surroundings, they could not find a single piece of green leaf on the old vines.

”It seems like all these old vines crawled their way out from the bottom of this ravine! Shine some light down there! I'm going to climb down now!”

Right after that, Gang Zi put one of his feet down and stepped on the old vine.

No one expected that the thick old vine would snap into half after Gang Zi stepped on it!

”No! Gang Zi is such a nice person! He should not die just like that! Let me go down and look for him!” said Su Xiaoman.

”Xiaoman! Calm down! Gang Zi is dead! We will not make the same mistake! Can we at least assess the situation first?”

”No! Gang Zi is not dead! He is definitely still breathing! Shixong, let me go! I have just assessed the situation! The old vines are all dried up! That's why they are so brittle! I will not step on the vines! I will go down by stepping on the rocks instead!”

”This… You are right about that! Let's not touch the vine! The rocks can help us to abseil down the ravine! It might be a good idea after all! But, you have to be very, very careful! Don't rush it!”

Immediately, Su Xiaoman freed herself from Ouyang Huxiao and started to traverse down the ravine. Though she was rushing to rescue Gang Zi, she still made sure to watch her every step. She had both of her hands holding on to the rock on her both sides. She then gingerly put one of her feet down to look for the next stepping point.

”So cold!”

Her hands were practically freezing after they gripped the wall of the ravine for a few seconds. Her skin had turned so pale as if it was covered by a layer of frost. One should know that Su Xiaoman's health was 600,000! If she, of all people, started to feel cold, that would mean the temperature of the ravine's wall was absolutely freezing.

In actuality, it was normal for her to feel the coldness of the rocks. A One-star Earth-God item was equally as powerful as an Earth God! A Two-star Earth-God item, on the other hand, was ten times more powerful than the One-Star item!

As of right now, a Three-star Earth-God item, the Abyss Ice was waiting for Su Xiaoman at the bottom of the ravine. Using it to craft an Earth-God Instrument would actually allow the person to kill anyone and even Two-Star Earth Gods with ease!

Luckily, there were no Three-star Earth-God Instruments down there waiting to attack Su Xiaoman. The Abyss Ice was purely emanating its natural aura.
