After a whole day of mucking about, it was finally revealed that Wei Zhonglie's reason for arresting Bai Linsu and her friends was not for fun but because of news about what happened back in Violet Reborn. The news had eventually reached Green Hill Starfield.

Upon hearing this, Bai Linsu and Linghu Shuang began to panic.

If Wei Zhonglie were to incriminate them on this account and execute the three of them, it would be considered reasonable and fair – a legitimate act in this place!

The other powerful families of Violet Reborn and thousands of other people can be witness to this! If you don't believe me, you can go find out for yourself! All the Yi Family's elites came to kill me! If I hadn't fought back, I would have died! Based on what you said just now, the members of the Yi Family are the ones who committed the crime and, by law, should be executed! Wasn't it entirely justified for me to have killed them?”

Chen Xiaobei said this in a tone that was neither overbearing nor obsequious!

”That…” Wei Zhonglie was speechless.
