Chapter 513: Accidental discovery (1/2)
Hearing the precise number of vials that would allow me to save Eve from her situation was better than anything else than I could imagine! Rather than looking for ways to help her without any lead, I could finally follow a precise trail with visible results along the way!
Yet just a single look around the underground room revealed how far I was from reaching that point. Even if I were to collect all the vials, purify them from their projections and enhance their potency with pure energy, it would still amount to less than a half that Bonger requested!
But what were the chances that other sects would also own such miraculous fluid? Was it something specific to the goose sect? Or was it the reason why the internal struggles between the sects could take violent outcome? Just from this one projection that brought my attention to those vials along with what Bonger told me about this miraculous fluid potential most likely meant that given enough time and energy, those vials could help one come back to life!
Yet since I had no way of knowing how one could procure such liquid, I could only secure what I had in this place before moving on to scavenge the rest of the underground storage rooms.
With no more reasons to bother myself with figuring out which staircase should I pick, rather than doing it randomly, the moment I went back to the main hall of the sect leader mansion, I moved to the next column before descending once again.
One by one, all valuable treasures held inside the vaults that could in any way help me grow stronger or help with strengthening both of Eve's soul and body were stuffed into my pocket. Yet rather than poaching them for what they were worth, I used them as a cushion for all the vials that I stole from the miraculous room.
Before long, all the hidden underground rooms were swept nearly clean, forcing me to stock all my findings on a massive pile in the middle of the hall. But rather than just carrying them outside and turning them into a form that would be useful for me, I once again stepped inside the hut in the middle of the mansion.
After once again sweeping the area with all sorts of my vision, I made sure that there was no hidden places or switches that I could use to reach the real hidden treasure. Even though how much I already found, when considering the overall level of the upper tiers of the sect along with its elders and sect master himself, the treasures seemed to be still lacking!
If there was no illusion protecting the real core of the mansion from one's greedy hands, then that meant that some kind of traditional hidden room was somewhere out there! After all, just Monica's way of acting was enough to prove that she expected her sect master to be in his own mansion. Additionally, when I actually paid attention to the way in which all the traps and gate reinforcement were laid out, tracking the source of its energy supply confirmed my guesses.
Yet even when knowing that there was at least one more hidden room where all the energy was converging within the mansion didn't make it any easier for me to find out where it was!
With no other option, I started molesting all the smallest and biggest items within the hut, hoping that just by banking on my luck and statistic, I would somehow find the entry. One by one, I touched all the pieces of furniture in the room before moving on to caressing, pressing and pinching all sorts of decorations that I could find around this place.
