108 Choke (2/2)
”No I w-as s-up-pp-o-o-sed to ki-ill h-h-er m-yse-lf,” the voice muttered, it's smile growing wider at the moment. In a blink of an eye, the smile was wiped off and the shadow leaned in closer, empty blue eyes staring into Regan's red eyes. It grinned, it's voice booming with no true sound, distorted voices yelled at Regan. ”H-h-ow d-a-are y-y-ou?!”
Regan buried her head in her knee and scratched violently at her hair. ”I-I'm sorry… please f-forgive me.” She begged. Her hands lounged forward and she grabbed the stranger's hand, kneeling and kissing the cold hand of the stranger. ”PLEASE! PLEASE FORGIVE ME!!” she cried.
Antonin jumped back, flinching at the grip of her hand. ”Regan?! REGAN!!”
He brushed her hands off and grabbed her by her shoulder, shaking her again.
Regan continued to claw, scratch, and then began to bite. She bit herself like a dog, useless attempts to entertain the monster that stood before her. Useless attempts to save herself. Blood. The taste of blood fills her mouth as she clamps down on her arm again.
”REGAN!!! WAKE UP!!!” Antonin screamed.
'What are you doing? Do you think this is entertaining?' the voice chuckled.
Regan barked.
The voice grinned but the smile slowly twisted around the face, transforming into a frowning face. ”It was fun talking to you but now it's boring,” it sighed in its distorted voices.
Fragments of familiarity stung Regan from the words it said but she couldn't hear it well. She couldn't see it face… no.. it wasn't a face.
Like a patchwork, skin was stitched together into one network and wrapped around the shadow's head. It had no hair, just pieces of stands attached to the patches of faces.
She didn't know where to look, she didn't want to look. She wanted to hide, to run.
The shadow peered down at her pitifully but then shrugged, it's wispy hands grabbing her by the neck before she could run.
”Let's skip to the fun part now shall we?” It whispered, its cold long fingers wrapping tighter around her neck. It raised up the coffee creamer and smiled. ”Say ahhhh~”
Regan's eyes widened in fear and she began to inch backward. ”No... no..” Regan begged, tears flowing down her cheeks as her face froze in fear.
”REGAN!!” Antonin yelled, shaking her again. His voice wasn't reaching her. It wasn't even touching her stream of consciousness, she was engulfed in her mind.
Regan trembled violently, her body vibrating. ”P-please d-don't do this,” she begged, words from another streaming out of her mouth.
'Say ahhhh~' the voice neared, it's smile ripping the patches of skin that made its face.
Regan shut her mouth tightly in protest, her eyes staring straight up at the being before her.
”REGAN!!!!!” Antonin screamed again, panic and anxiety flowing up his bloodstream. His entire body and mind were on edge.
”REGAN!!” Antonin cried, ”PLEASE WAKE UP!!”
He stared into her eyes. They were looking at his but were dazed. She wasn't seeing him. He shook Regan again and her eyes dimmed, she looked dead. His heart dropped to the floor.
'Come here~' the voice called out, it's hand tightening around her neck.
She crawled backward but its hands stretched, dragging it along with wherever she went. It was following her. Looming above her with a smile that sunk into her mind and tore down all thoughts of sanity. Her mind was caving in.
”REGAN!!! WAKE UP!” Antonin shook her again.
”No, no please no!” Regan screamed, shoving him away.
Her hands passed through the shadow, cold pressing against her skin when she reached into its body.
'OPEN YOUR DAMNED MOUTH!!!” The voice bellowed, it lifted Regan up by the mouth and forced her mouth open, the creamer in its hand rushed up to her face and pressed it against her lips. 'DRINK IT!!!' the voice commanded, distorted voices digging into Regan's head.
”N-No, NO NO PLEASE... DON'T!!” Regan cried, her hands trying to push the hand away. It simply passed through them.
'DRINK IT!!!' The voice yelled. It tipped the bottle over and the creamer followed down Regan's throat overflowing her mouth and running down her chin to the ground. 'SWALLOW! DRINK WHAT YOU MADE!! IS IT GOOD?!'
Her eyes began to roll behind her sockets.
Antonin inched backward, she was hyperventilating. Foam bubbling out her mouth and streaming down her chin.
'DRINK IT!' The voice laughed, it's words booming in her head, 'ENJOY IT!'
”Umph..urg,” Regan muttered, her words drowned under the creamer that ran down her thought. She cried hot tears. 'Help me…'
Antonin sat for a moment, quivering, before standing up and running out of the room into the hallway. He set down the hall with no destination in mind. He would run until he saw what would save her.
