Lin Guyu watched the young lady leave curiously, as she heard the Mrs. Zhou's loud and happy laughter.

It was really strange, someone like the Mrs. Zhou actually knew how to laugh.

It was sunny today, so Lin Guyu helped Chi Hang out of the house. They had already prepared a chair in advance and placed it at the corner of the house, before helping Chi Hang to go over and sit.

”Gather medicinal herbs?” Chi Hang thought about his current situation, his eyebrows creased, and said worriedly, ”Don't we still have some money at home, it's better not to go pick the herbs.”

The beasts on the mountain were numerous, and the road was bumpy. If anything were to happen, Chi Hang would not dare to think further, and frowned as he looked at Lin Guyu.

Lin Guyu pursed her lips, a faint smile in her eyes, and said with a gentle voice. ”It's fine, I'll be more careful.”

There were not many medicines at home, Lin Guyu did not want to take any more from Lu Family Medical Hall. She felt that she owed Lu Ziyu a lot of favors.

”I'm almost done.” Chi Hang said worriedly, ”It's fine even if you don't take the medicine now.”

”But I'm only going to the mountains to gather herbs, not the deep mountains to hunt. There's no need to worry.” Lin Guyu said, then picked up the bamboo basket that was full of firewood and tied it with a belt, and carried it on his back.

Dou Sha was squatting on the side, counting the ants. Seeing Lin Guyu's actions, she immediately walked in front of him.

”Mother.” Dou Sha raised his hand and tugged on Lin Guyu's sleeves, his eyes focused on Lin Guyu.

”You and Daddy are home, okay?” Lin Guyu bent down and knelt in front of the bean, and said softly, ”Mother will go out and take care of some matters.”

”Go, go!” Dou Sha's small hands grabbed onto Lin Guyu's clothes tightly, unwilling to part with him.

”The child doesn't want you to leave, so don't go.” Chi Hang sat in place, the sunlight shining onto his body felt warm.

When these words came out, Chi Hang's heart trembled slightly, they looked like a family.

He suddenly felt regret. He didn't want to separate from her.

”Mother will be back in a moment,” Lin Guyu reached out her hands to try and pry open Dou Sha's small hands, but Dou Sha was holding onto Lin Guyu's sleeves tightly and refused to let go.

Lin Guyu was worried that her strength was too strong, and that her hands would hurt, so she could only carefully pry her hands away.

”What is he trying to do?” When Lu Ziyu came in from outside, he saw Lin Guyu and Dou Sha were in a stalemate as they slowly walked in.

Lin Guyu turned her head back, and the tofu was immediately wrapped tightly around Lin Guyu's neck.

Children were indeed cute, but they were just too sticky.

This kind of sticky bean paste, gave Lin Guyu a headache.

Lin Guyu picked up the bean paste and turned to look at Lu Ziyu. Before she could say anything, her gaze fell on Lu Ziyu, who was holding two big bags in her hands.

”He doesn't have much medicine left. I've brought more, according to your original recipe.” Lu Ziyu slowly walked in front of Lin Guyu, her voice as gentle as the spring sun, ”I set it aside for you.”

Lu Ziyu almost came by every other day, obviously he had more things to do.

”How much is it?” Lin Guyu frowned slightly and spoke with a conflicted tone.

The smile on Lu Ziyu's face seemed to have been frozen by ice. When he looked back at Lin Guyu, a gentle expression appeared on his face, ”It's not worth anything.”

Placing the medicine on the firewood outside, Lu Ziyu walked over to Lin Guyu gracefully, ”You don't need to go up the mountain to gather medicinal herbs, it's too dangerous over there.”

Lin Guyu walked in front of Chi Hang and placed the bean paste down, ”Others say that we're brothers, but Dr. Lu, you always give us such a big bargain, can your medicine store earn any money?”

Lu Ziyu had never placed this small amount of money in the Lu family's eyes.

It was just that, it was Lu Ziyu's strangeness. If he were to give free medicine to others, then some families would probably want it more than others, and would not meet someone like Lin Guyu who gave money to them.

The closer they got to Lin Guyu, the harder Lu Ziyu could see of her.

In this heaven forgiving man's world, not only did a woman from a poor family know how to treat patients, her medical skills were definitely not inferior to his. It seemed that there were more and more unanswered questions on her body.

”It's just a small amount of money, not worth mentioning at all. I still hope that Miss Lin can help out at my medicine store in the future.” Lu Ziyu replied in a natural manner.

Earlier on, he had already sent someone to investigate.

Originally, the one who married Chi Hang should have been her elder sister, but now that her elder sister had ran away, she was forced to marry her.

She should hate Chi Hang, but she saw the expression on Chi Hang's face and didn't seem to hate him at all.

”In the future, if I have the time, I would naturally be willing to come to Dr. Lu's medical hall to help. But for now,” Lin Guyu paused, a slight awkwardness could be seen on his face, ”It's better to settle this score clearly.”

Chi Hang looked up at Lu Ziyu, smiled, and said, ”Gu Yu is right, our two families aren't very familiar with each other after all.”
