As far as the humans were concerned, the sudden appearance of the Zerg was akin to facing a formidable enemy. Not only were they taking all kinds of measures, but news of the Zergs quickly spread among the citizens as well. In the beginning, the humans were too afraid to get close to the Zerg, but they later discovered that the Zergs seemed to be completely ignoring them. Both sides claimed to be right. They even organized a group debate from time to time.
