Chapter 541 - YX Dance Academy (1/2)

Amid their childish banter, the two of them arrived at a building. To put it strictly, it looked more like a school.

Xu Tang drove to the underground parking lot of the most outstanding building. All this while, Lu Meili was in awe. ” Y X Dance Academy? How beautiful.”

Xu Tang got out of the car and helped her out like a gentleman. ”We're here.”

Lu Meili looked at the school buildings. YX... could that pseudonym mean... Yang Xu? So he really meant it when he vowed that he would own a dance school and name it after his parents. He had said it as a half joke when they were only little kids. How come he remembered this, yet forgot almost everything else about his childhood?

Had he really....

”Why are you in a daze? Let's go in.”

Lu Meili followed his lead into the building. It looked enchating with its mainly blue theme.

Through a glass wall on her left, she saw three ballerinas dancing with all their gracefulness and charm in their white ballet outfits.

”How beautiful.” She subconciously said.

”That's just an illusion. The real dancers are inside.” He said and pushed a door open.

The ballerinas here were quite many. They were so engrossed in their dance that they were not distracted by their entrace. They still continued spinning and splitting gracefully. It looked much prettier than the illusion.

”Let's not distract them.” He whispered. ”If you want to learn ballet, I will bring you here again. However, this time you will only learn a little of everything. When you pass the audition, I will train you much harder.”

”You are so confident in me? What would happen if I don't pass?”

Xu Tang led her to an empty classroom. ”You are Lu Meili. As if there is anything you can't do.” Who was he kidding? For this audition, it was almost a hundred percent sure that the only one who could be chosen was Lu Meili. Of course, the fact that many actresses would give up once they found out that she was also going to audition made it even more likely.

He put on a slow song, which just happened to be Lu Meili's favorite song for many years.

The girl blinked. ”What made you choose this song?”

He took off his coat. ”Is there a specific reason? I'll be honest with you; I don't remember having a specific reason to like it. I just find it quite nice to listen to.

Lu Meili smiled. You don't know because it was my favorite song and I played it so many times that you had no choice but like it.

”Come here.” He beckoned at her.

”Better than I thought.” She mumbled under her breath.

”What was that?”

”Nothing!” She rushed over to him.

He took her small hand and put an arm around her waist. ”Let's warm up a little.”

”Mmh.”

He could practically feel her heartbeat that was increasingly fast. ”Don't worry about the walls. They're one way. No one can see us from the outside.”

”Mmh.” He cared that she might be scared? What a gentleman.

Though perhaps someone should have told this 'gentleman' that his words sounded too misleading.
