Chapter 521 - They didnt understand her (1/2)

Lin Lihua studied her niece's expression. Was she disapointed that Katy had wronged her, or was she in denial?

”She really didn't? Why would you think that she did anyway?”

Katy Blanc had just left her room, intending to follow Lu Meili. She overhead Lin Lihua's words just as she arrived.

”Aunt, I really didn't. Meili must have misunderstood something.” Although what Lu Meili said did not accuse her of anything, she knew that the girl didn't actually trust her. Is she did, qhe wouldn't have looked at her with that hateful expression.

Lu Meili knew that if she produced the evidence she had in their presence, Henry Blanc and Lin Lihua would definitely punish Katy.

If she had indeed framed her, she would have deserved it. However, she was not entirely sure about it herself. What if it was really a misunderstanding? It would be best if they sorted it out personally.

”Aunty, it's just a speculation. Someone could be trying to frame Sis Katy and drive us apart.”

Lin Lihua thought it made sense. ”Don't worry too much about it. I will help you investigate it.  But, I don't think Katy is capable of doing that sort of thing.”

Although that was what she said, she still gave Katy Blanc a stern gaze. If she did anything to wrong Lu Meili, she wouldn't be very friendly.

As soon as Lu Meili left, Katy looked at Lin Lihua nervously. ”Aunt, you really trust me?”

”No.” Lin Lihua's answer was as heartless as could be.

Katy's heart shattered. ”Oh...”

Lin Lihua continued. ”However, I will not refute logic simply because I don't trust you.”

Lately, Katy had been framed very many times. She was under the impression that this was just one of those times.

Katy went back to her room. It was all her fault that her aunt would never trust her.

By the time Lu Meili reached Villa number 4, she was no longer sad. That was the nature of her temper. She was just like a clueless little child- her anger only lasted a moment. The next moment, she would be smiling about like nothing happened.
