Chapter 502 - He was not leaving yet? (1/2)

”Right, I forgot something. Could you wait for a moment?”

”What is it?” Yun Xuan asked curiously. Even the little boy in her arms seemed to rest his eyes on him. Was he not leaving yet?

”Just wait a moment okay?”

He rushed to his car and took a box of something out. He then brought it to her. ”Here, it's for Yun Feng.”

Yun Xuan restrained her excitement. ”When did you even get this?”

The point was, he had got a present for her baby? How thoughtful of him.

Lin Ye was studying her expression and was glad that she liked it. ”Before I came to pick you up. I just casually picked something that little boys would love.” He made it sound as though he was not the one who spent days trying to decide on the best kind of present for his future son. It had to be precious, but not too expensive or Yun Xuan would not accept it.

The boy was curious about the foreign object and stuck out his tiny hands to touch it.

Yun Xuan really wanted to know what kind of toy he had bought for her baby, but she would let him open it when he was able to. It was the first gift he had recieved from a man after all.

He already had numerous toys that he would play with while growing up. Yun Xuan had bought them for him after working hard. However, something felt particularly good about this new present.

”Boss, you should go to sleep early. Goodnight.”

Yun Xuan responded with a smile. ”Goodnight.”

Lin Ye really wanted to give her a hug. At the same time, he didn't want to rush her or force her into anything so he resisted the urge. He pinched the boy slightly on his adorable little cheeks and left.

In his car, he wondered just how exactly he would make her fall in love with him. She was so indifferent towards him that one would think he was her brother.

He couldn't stand the temptation to tell her of his feelings whenever they were together. For now, it seemed like he had to keep his distance for a while, until she was actually ready for a man in her life.

Meanwhile, Yun Xuan returned to the house and coaxed her son to sleep. He had been well fed already and it took only a little effort to get him to sleep.

When she had put him into his cradle, she took a bath and sat before the mirror to complete her daily skin care routine. It was meant to help her face heal completely faster. Due to the nature of her skin, she had to take delicate care of it every night for five months after the surgery. If not, her face would be completely ruined.

Speaking of which, it was amazing that her son was able to recognize her after her second cosmetic surgery.

She had initially thought that he would think of her as a stranger. It seemed like it was true what they said about babies using their mothers' smells and voices to recognize them. If she had the surgery any later, Yun Feng might have been old enough to realize it.

She finished her skin care routine quickly and went to sleep. She had a busy day the next day.

Currently, she was working  in HL Entertainment as the most potential debuting artist's personal stylists.

She did not think this was diminishing her status; HL Entertainment was Lin Lihua's empire. With Lin Lihua's status, any random artist in her company was capable of shooting to fame. Her criteria for selecting them was quite strict.
