Tired of the countless arguments, Henry Blanc left Country F with his fiancée and niece.
He would come back often to pay a visit to his sister. Aside from this, he had no other business in Country F.
As for his trouble making mother, he had had her trailed. He was sure that there was someone else using her despair to make her break Amy Blanc out.
He had an inkling of who it might be, but he wanted to collect sufficient evidence, as well as know what exactly the other party was up to.
Since Amy Blanc had broken up with him and decided to follow the right path, he must be paranoid and scared that she would rat him out.
Speaking of which, he wondered if Lu Aotian was letting the Blanc family take care of that man, or if he was waiting to take care of him together since both the Lu and Blanc families had been wronged terribly by him.

When they landed, it was evening in Country C already. Katy had slept the entire flight and had not woken up even after landing. He had to carry her to the car and all the way to his villa when they arrived.
Although he did not want to wake her up since she was sleeping so peacefully, she had not eaten anything since they left Country F.
If she did not eat right now, she might feel hungry late into the night. It was not healthy for children to eat late at night.
Lin Lihua was not tired so she prepared a meal. After they ate dinner, Katy was a bit active from having slept a lot. They played together for a while before the girl got tired again.
”Aunty, I am scared of sleeping in my room on my own. Can I sleep in your room once more? Just this once.” The girl pleaded.
She really liked sleeping in Lin Lihua's room. She would feel really safe and have sweet dreams.
”Of course you can. But just for tonight, okay? Tomorrow, your uncle and I will be married.”
The girl nodded. She knew that when her aunty Lihua was officially her aunt, she would no longer let her sleep together. Though she did not understand why exactly that would happen, she would still be happy if her aunty Lihua told her stories.
Dragging a pillow, she followed Lin Lihua into her room. Henry Blanc watched on silently. Little girl, I'm sorry but you will have to sleep on your own tomorrow. I can let you steal my fiancée but once she is my wife, don't even think about it.

”Aunty, can you tell me a story tonight?” Katy cocked her head at Lin Lihua in anticipation.
Lin Lihua was not sleepy either so she thought of a story Xia Rou had told her when she was young. ”There was once a pair of twins whose mother passed away...
One day, their father remarried and brought a step mother home.”
At this point, Katy frowned. ”Was the step mother very evil?”
”No. That was what they thought at first. But she treated them well and they became close with time.”
Katy was stunned.
