Yun Xuan pushed his hands off her. ”How is that part of your business, my dear brother... Arnold Wen?” She emphasized the last two words because they were the main point.

Yun Jifeng was thunderstruck. How did she know?

But thinking about it, it was not much of a surprise. She had seen the hidden safe before. Perhaps she saw the fake passport after all? He thought.

And...by saying that name out aloud, was she trying to threaten him? Did she think she was a match for him?

Yun Xuan chuckled just as he was about to speak. ”Don't worry. I will not tell anyone about it, Old Two. After all, you only have a fake identity. It's not like you have used it to commit any crime. Who doesn't use fake names here and there anyway? Not to mention, aren't you my second brother? I wouldn't bear to.

Putting that aside, I missed my second brother quite alot.”

Yun Jifeng studied her expression. She only knew that name and nothing else about it?

If that was the case, what was he so worried about? She was basically just as harmless and stupid as she used to be. Tsk, and to think he had wasted his time trying to find and kill her.

The next day.

Everyone was busy. Lu Enterprises' banquet was tonight.

Those who were attending were all waiting anxiously. President Lu had mentioned that there would be many pieces of good news. They couldn't wait to hear it.

Similarly, those who had other plans, like General Yun and his second son Yun Jifeng; were restless.

Tonight, they would put their well thought out plan in action.

After returning the previous night, Yun Xuan had slept in the room that had been hers for all these years. In the morning, the nanny that had taken care of her since she was a child was also the one who woke her up. Contrary to her expectations, nothing that belonged to her had been thrown out. So they had not completely given up on her after all.

However, it did not make her feel guilty a minuscule bit. They were criminals. It was not wrong to use them for the sake of getting them arrested.

At the breakfast table, it was only Yun Xuan and Yun Jifeng, as usual. Madam Yun had had to leave early before Yun Xuan woke up and so had General Yun.

Yun Xuan ate with her head down without sparing him a glance.

When they were both done, she stood up and brushed his shoulder on her way out. ”If only we were both enemies of that person.”

Yun Jifeng grabbed her hand. ”What person?”

”No one.” She said and slipped her hand off his.

Yun Jifeng remained in contemplation. Why would she say that? Was she trying to lure him into believing that they were on the same side?

When Yun Xuan was out of earshot, he made a call. ”Get me all the latest information about Yun Xuan.”

Just a few steps ahead, Yun Xuan humphed. Hmh! Idiot.”
