Chapter 175 - Allergic to cat fur (1/2)
”Ahem..” Lin Lihua coughed and looked at Wan Jia who was blushing with embarassment. ”That, you can ask your father.”
The little girl nodded as Wan Jia glared at Lin Lihua. What kind of topic was that?
...
That night, when Lu Aotian arrived home, it was quite a surprise that Little Jia did not run to him as always. This time, it was Wan Jia who had a white rose in her hands.
Lu Aotian frowned. Since when did Wan Jia start giving flowers? Carrying her off in his usual style, he asked, ”Little Jia is asleep?”
”No. She's playing with Brownie.”
”Brownie?”
”Oh, it's her new kitten. Sis Lihua gave it to her.”
In her room, Little Jia was comically forcing the little kitten to eat more catfood. She was holding its head and shoving it into its new bowl. When it refused to eat even after being forced, she pulled its fur furiously. The poor kitten could only pitifully make muffled sounds.
This was the scene her parents witnessed when they walked into her room.
Wan Jia was about to burst into laughter when Lu Aotian glared at her.
”Princess, you should not force it to eat. It must be full.” he patiently explained to the little girl.
”Oh...” when she let go of its head, the kitten scurried away for dear life. Little Jia watched it leave sadly.
Lu Aotian picked her up. ”Don't force it next time, alright? If you do, it will be scared of you forever.”
The little girl finally gave him some attention and hugged his neck. ”Daddy, welcome home!”
Before he said anything, she asked, ”Daddy, why does Little Jia not have a little sister?”
Lu Aotian coughed at the sudden question. ”You want to have a little sister?”
The little girl became excited. ”Yes, yes. Is she in Mommy's belly?” with that, she curiously studied Wan Jia's belly.
That wasn't right. Tangtang had said that because there was a little sister in his Mommy's belly, it was very big. Wan Jia's was very flat and thin. Though she wondered with her brows knitted, why would there be a sister in someone's belly?
Wan Jia felt awkward being looked at curiously and was about to change the topic when the little girl spoke again. ”No, no. I don't want a little sister. I want a little brother.”
The adults smiled. They also wanted a son to compliment the daughter.
