If you choose one of the questions a, B and C, you will participate in MCM (Mathematical Contest in modeling) competition by default.

If you choose questions D, e and F, you will participate in ICM (Interdisciplinary contest in modeling) by default.

If we insist on the difference between MCM and ICM, the general MCM competition topics are more specific, concise and clear.

The ICM competition is more open, the problem is more ”big”, more macroscopic, and the length is longer.
