Chapter 39: Cry Her Heart Ou (2/2)
She had thought that mommy was playing hide-and-seek with her by climbing the window and keeping mouth shut. She had thought that mommy smelled different today was just a normal thing. However, when mommy's voice changed, she was frightened.
Though Qibao was two years old now, she couldn't walk. She cried her heart out. She tried crawling down the mess to come near mom and seek solace. Maybe mom was not meant to do it. Maybe it was just an accident for mom to drop her.
During her crawling, she suddenly lose balance and rolled down to the cement floor. She bumped into the ground with her forehead loudly.
Usually, mom would come and hug her, but now, she hurt a lot and mom didn't come near. Instead, she scolded her loudly.
Qibao tried to pull herself up and sat on the ground since she was unable to stand still by now. She looked into Yu Yi's eyes with a hurt look and stretched her arms for a hug. She kept calling for mommy. Receiving no response, her voice grew louder and began to cry, ”Mommy, hug, hug Qibao.”
Judging from Qibao's height, Yu Yi held that she was at least three years old, ”You are three years old but you can't walk. Are you a cripple? Little bastard! Itmust because the bad things your mom had done that turns you into a cripple!”
Qibao was so much alike Yu Lan. She mustn't be Sheng Youting's kid. However, just because of her face, Youting was especially happy when he hugged her.
Was it a must that everyone shall look alike Yu Lan?
Yu Yi took out a blade and came close to Qibao's face, ”Little bastard, how about I putting the blade on your face with force, and then you would no longer resemble your mom's face, all right?”
Qibao was a premature and with congenital deficiencies. She would get sick easily. So she was brought up and spoiled by Yu Lan since young. Yu Lan would tell Qibao to get away from everything that might be dangerous, like sockets, smoking water, knives, and all other sharp things.
Qibao was so scared to avoid the blade. She couldn't believe the woman was her mommy now. Her mommy wouldn't scold her, won't drop her, and won't come near with a blade.
