Xu Zenan knocked on the door until his hands began to ache. He thought for a moment, then held his phone and called Tian Xin.
”Tian Xin, is Xi Wu with you?”
”No, why?” Tian Xin was currently cooking a bag of instant noodles and eating it while watching TV.
”It's nothing. I can't find Xi Wu. She turned off her phone and knocked on the door, but no one answered. Did something happen to her?”
Xu Zenan's voice was filled with worry.
After hearing his words, Tian Xin became nervous, ”I don't think so?”
”But, I can't find her right now. Quickly think, where can I find her?”
”I really can't come up with that. Xi Wu usually stays at home. There's nothing that she can't do.”
”That's strange, no one is home.”
Xu looked up at the closed windows of Chen Xi Wu's house and became more and more confused and worried.
Tian Xin wasn't in the mood to eat anymore. She threw her fork into the bowl and said, ”Where are you? I'll go find you.” Let's go out and look for it together. ”
”I'm downstairs. Come over.”
Twenty minutes later, Tian Xin arrived in her Beetle.
Xu Zenan was leaning against his car and looking at her. He pointed to the apartment behind him and said, ”It's already past seven. Look, the house is dark and the people have disappeared.”
”Have you tried calling again?”
Tian Xin said as she took out her cell phone.
”Yes, it's switched off.” Xu Zenan was a bit depressed.
”Then what should we do?” Not wanting to give up, Tian Xin called her number.
Chen Xi Wu blurrily went over and was awakened by the pain. Subconsciously, she touched her phone to check the time, only to find that her phone had been turned off and she had pressed the power button.
Almost as soon as she switched on the phone, a call came in. She squinted at the string of familiar numbers and picked it up.
”Hello?”
”Xi Wu, where are you?”
She was very familiar with Tian Xin's voice. Chen Xi Wu blinked her eyes as she looked at the screen, ”I'm at home. What's wrong?”
Her voice was tired and sleepy.
”Not much, I'm downstairs. Open the door!” Tian Xin stood at the door and rang the doorbell.
