The most important thing for Xi Jianguo to do was to find Chen Xi Wu.

So when Chen Xi Wu got off the bus and walked back to her apartment, kicking mischievous pebbles on the side of the road, she saw Xi Yu Zhe leaning on her door.

He was lost in thought while looking up at the sky at a 45 degree angle. His face was clearly outlined, and a thin layer of light covered it. With this long figure, his temperament was outstanding and extremely beautiful.

But she didn't think he looked happy, and the knowledge made her worry too.

She quickened her pace and approached him. She studied his expression for a moment before tilting her head and waving her hand in front of his face.

”Hey, what are you daydreaming about?”

He held the soft, boneless hand precisely and hugged her tightly with his long arm. His chin rested on her shoulder as he subconsciously rubbed it against her body.

Chen Xi Wu slowly extended her arms and hugged him tightly. She tilted her head and blinked her eyes.

”Yu Zhe, what's wrong with you? What happened? ”

”It's nothing, I was just thinking of you.”

There was something wrong with his voice. Chen Xi's brows knitted slightly as she broke away from his embrace. She looked around and quickly took out the key to open the door.

”Let's go in first. If there's anything, let's talk inside.”

She opened the door, pulled him inside, and pressed him against the sofa.

He went to the water dispenser and got two glasses of water. He put one in his hand.

She sat beside him with a cup of water. ”Tell me, what happened? ”Don't lie to me, I know you have something on your mind.”

”I went to the hospital today. I've always suspected that there was something wrong with the medicine I was taking. Today, that doctor told me the truth under my pressure.

He said I might not have lost my memory, or it might not have been for so long, but it was Abby that had caused me to be confused for so long.

She had me injected with drugs that damaged the nerves in my brain, and she hypnotized me into selective amnesia, forgetting about you! ”
