Deep in the night, two of the three people drinking in the room were already drunk.
Gong Yue hugged his wine cup as he cried bitterly. Xu Zenan was lying on the sofa, shouting out Chen Xi's name. His face was filled with love and infatuation.
Finally, the two of them cried out and fell asleep with their eyes closed.
The interior of the room was suffused with the smell of alcohol and tobacco, and when mixed together, it didn't smell good.
He put down his glass and stood up. In the dim light, his black eyes were cold and dark, devoid of any feeling of drunkenness.
He walked out with his hands in his pockets, raised his hand to call a taxi and gave the address of Chen Xi's apartment.
Sitting in the back seat, he thought about what Gong Yue had said. The more he thought about it, the weirder it felt, and the more he missed Chen Xi.
He got out of the car and leaned against the door of her apartment, looking up at the warm light coming from the second-floor window.
He pulled out his cell phone and called her. His heart was incredibly soft when he heard her soft, lazy voice.
”Yu Zhe, it's so late. Are you still awake?”
Chen Xi Wu leaned against the headboard. The notebook was open in front of her, and she was recording what had happened today.
”I just drank some wine, so I can't fall asleep. I miss you.”
The man's voice was magnetic and husky, and the end was rising, which made it particularly intoxicating.
”How much wine have you drunk and you still can't sleep? Remember to drink a lot of hangover soup. ” she repeated with concern.
His deep eyes flashed with a faint smile as he stared at the door beside him. He raised his hand and pressed the doorbell, his heart filled with joy and elation.
In a moment his woman would be out.
”Xi Wu, open the door. I'm downstairs.”
Chen closed the notebook in front of him and put it in the bedside table.
Then she grabbed her phone and jumped off the bed, running downstairs barefooted.
It was still incredible when he reached the door. He carefully asked as he held his phone to his cheek.
