When the pained expression appeared in his eyes, he suddenly remembered that he had almost forgotten about her injury.
He sucked in her small earlobe with his thin lips and felt her body tremble slightly. He let go with satisfaction.
He took her hand and held her down on the sofa. He brought her medical kit and treated the bruise on her right elbow. His movements and expression were very gentle.

Her heart skipped a beat. She bit her lips and walked out of the room. The corner of his mouth curled up as he looked at her back.
Leaning against the elevator, she looked at the gauze wrapped around her right elbow, a small dimple at the corner of her mouth.
She tucked her hair behind her ear and her fingers went up and froze.

The custom-made hairpin that Xi's father had given her, the one and only existence in the world. She had always worn it with great care, so where did she go now?
It must have been Xi's office. She quickly picked another floor and the elevator stopped at the CEO's office. She quickly opened the door and walked out.
Just as he was about to knock on the door, he realized that the door wasn't shut at all. He could faintly hear people conversing inside.
She looked through the gap in the door and saw the scene. The hand hanging by her side could not help but tighten.
