"If she died, then why does she looks like me? Am I related to her? or Am I her reincarnation?" Yi Ling couldn't help but ask. This has been bothering her ever since she saw the painting.

Mu Xin smiled at her. "Does this bother you? I am not trying to hide things from you, just that there are times when its not good for someone to know things too much. When you finally unlock all of the Seven Seals within you, by then; everything would go back to its rightful place. By then, you would know why am I doing this." He held her hand and caress it.

"I see. Then, are you Minzhe's father?" Yi Ling had never asked this to him. Only Minzhe and Linyu said so. She never doubted it, but there seems to be a story behind it.

Mu Xin looked at her eyes, he could see that she was anticipating the answer. He sighed. Since she already met King Jin, everything would just complicate things. He had to draw the line between him and King Jin.

"Minzhe is not mine. He is King Jin's son. His full name is Jin Minzhe. I just happened to be around and saved him. Minzhe knows about King Jin, just that I was the one who raised him. That's why he calls me that." Mu Xin saw Yi Ling gasped. She just realized that she never knew Minzhe's last name.

"Jin Minzhe... How come? Who is his mother? He said that I looked like his mother. Does that mean that Mei Ling is his mother?" Yi Ling gulped. Her heart was aching, knowing that King Jin had a different woman. Although it was his past, she can't help but feel jealous.

"He said that? Tsk.. That bastard is such a troublemaker." Mu Xin dropped Yi Ling's hand and pulled her closer to him instead.

"Mei Ling is his mother, but I'll let you figure it out in the future. For now, I wanted to ask you something." Mu Xin tucked some of Yi Ling's baby hairs on her face.

Yi Ling looked at Mu Xin. "En?"

"Aren't you mad at me for painting you?" He felt anxious inside, he was afraid on hearing her answer.

"No, I figured that since it was because I looked like Mei Ling." Yi Ling shake her head.

"You do look like her, its very uncanny. But no, that's not the reason why I painted you. You and Mei Ling are totally different. Your perspective in life is more mature and practical than hers." Mu Xin rubbed her hair, she was pouting at the moment and he finds it adorable.

"You mentioned that you love Mei Ling. Is that why you are helping me? Cause I look like her?". Asking this, she sounded disappointed. Although she already knew that her heart belongs to King Jin, she couldn't help but feel sad. Her heart always gets confused when Mu Xin is around.
