Chapter 99 - Mei Lings Story (2/2)

"Ehem.. Tefei, Ling'er needs help making a massive amount of concoctions. I'll let you handle this since you're currently idle anyways." Mu Xin then turned to Yi Ling. He grabbed her hands and kissed on it. It was so fast that Yi Ling didn't have the time to think, she was caught off guard. She was only able to gasped when it was already done.

"I'll leave you two be. I'll check on you later." Mu Xin left , afraid that his jealousy would show. He already noticed how distant Yi Ling became after unlocking the Third Seal. He needed to talk to her about what happened. He needed to understand, the sooner the better.

When Mu Xin left, the two went to work. Tefei told Yi Ling that he was somewhat knowledgeable about making concoctions. He didn't elaborate why, Yi Ling didn't bother to ask. She was already thankful that she had a had helper.

The second week, brought the mid and low-ranked Kingdom into turmoil. The Xiang Kingdom announced to hold an Official Auction for the Blue Rose Sect. This would happen, 3 weeks from now. Yi Ling gave this task to Xiang He. Yi Ling wanted to sell different kinds of concoctions to earn some gold. She didn't want to be dependent on Xiang He. Although he was willing to give her any gold she wants, she strongly declined. She could easily earn it herself. This made Xiang He admired Doctor Yi more for his humbleness.

The auction list consisted of different kinds of concoctions. Vitality, Longevity, Cure of certain illness and poisons. There's also concoction for Qi Cultivation, Dawning and Nascent stages. Taking these concoction would help breakthrough one rank. For example, One would go from 5th rank to 6th rank. If you are on the 7th Rank, you would need to drink the next stage concoction. For example, 7th ranked Dawning stage must drink a Nascent stage concoction to breakthrough. Unfortunately, Yi Ling didn't sell any Emergent Stage Concoction. She haven't figured out that one yet.

On the third week, Yi Ling and Tefei was busy making concoctions while Linyu, Haoran and Minzhe was busy teaching the disciples. Since the Medical Court was already established, Yi Ling also gave them a task. It was to make a variety of concoction for the Sect. This way, the Sect can establish their own Medical Pavilion. This is were the disciples can buy their medicine or concoction. The payment for this is either gold or certain rare herbs. Linyu is also the one supervising this. He felt like he was going to collapse anytime soon. Fortunately, Yi Ling assigned Mo Tian and Bai Zinghe to help supervised the Pavilion. Since Mo Tian was already experienced in this matter and he was the one who recommended Bai Zinghe.

That same week. The families of the disciples also received a note from the sect that their children/relatives were taken in officially as disciples of the Blue Rose Sect. This made those families felt proud and happy. They wanted to go and check them, but they advised to wait for the disciples to get used to their environment. When time comes, the disciples will visit their families at their own pace.

When the fourth week came, The Xiang Kingdom was packed as ever! This time, the middle-rank kingdoms sent a bunch of people to buy certain concoctions. Some of the people who didn't passed the examination told everyone how amazing the Blue Rose Sect was. They spread news that the Elders of the Sect was already in Emergent Stage. This is because of Jin Minzhe floating and Linyu, Haoran and Yi Ling's fast movements. They seem to just appeared out of thin air and had a powerful auras.

Most of them came early to gather more information about the said auction and the Sect itself. The Sect was very secretive and they don't even know where it was located. Only Xiang He and Elder Zhen knows. The people who help constructed the Sect lost their memories. Yi Ling made a special concoction just for them. Even though they lost their memories, they were given money by the Sect for their contribution. All they know is they helped build it, but can't recall the location. So it was also spread how wonderful the structures were inside the Sect.

Everyone felt frustrated by the lack of information. Until the 6th day of the Fourth week. The Kingdom announced that tomorrow, the Sect would bring disciples out. Some of the Elders would come as well, this is to show the validity of the concoctions. Yi Ling was willing to do this, enable to make the Sect known through out the land.
