Chapter 39 - The Golden Knights (1/2)

Yi Ling was inside a forest, she didn't know where she was heading but it was better that to be with that pig! She cursed in her head.

As she was reaching the center of the forest, she noticed something out of the corners of her eyes! Spiritual Herbs! They were everywhere and I mean all different kinds! Her eyes couldn't believe what she was seeing. She guessed that the Jin Kingdom was one of the High Ranked Kingdom in Huaxia. But she can never believe her awesome luck! Why was there so many spiritual herbs in this forest? Then a thought hit her.

"Am I now inside the spiritual beasts territory?" Yi Ling instantly froze. She had been feeling the same abundance of spiritual energy, so she didn't paid attention to it. She looked around but didn't see any danger.

Since she couldn't sense anything, she took a step close to one. Daring to see if something will pop out, if she plucked one out of the ground.

*Pop!*

Yi Ling open her eyes wide, waiting to see any sort of noise or movement. Nothing. Nothing happened. Her eyes shined.

"Since you guys aren't coming out, I won't be shy!" Yi Ling said out loud.

She pulled all the spiritual herbs that she could get. She even found some herbs that she could use to change her skin and voice! It was a good thing that she studied Mu Xin's book! It was really helpful to her!

When she was satisfied with her harvest, She walked again. Deeper into the forest. Its been 5 hours already, since she had left the palace. She didn't know that a group of people was HOT in her tail.

When Yi Ling reached the deepest part of the forest, the sun was about to set. She still didn't see any spiritual beasts around. She can feel that someone was staring at her but she never saw anyone.

Along the way, she still pick up all the spiritual herbs that she could see. She had a big load of spiritual herbs on her back. The pill was gradually making her stronger, so she was able to lift up the load. She made a bag using big leaves and vines.

In the center of the forest, she saw a big cave. Since it was almost dark, she went inside and left her stuff beside the big rock. She went outside to gather some wood and went back inside.

She didn't dare went all the way inside the cave, The cave was huge. Some spiritual beast might be living inside, she thought.

She sighed, if she dies during this journey. She can only blame that lewd King.
