Chapter 22 - Rongyu Auction House (1/1)

When Spiritual Water is mixed into any concoctions, The results will only be slightly better compared to regular water. With Linyu on Yi Ling side, her results are doubled already. It might even be tripled if she mixed it with spiritual water. She thought this through before, but she didn't have any cauldron to test it yet. This is one of her list to buy here in Feng Kingdom.

Yi Ling instructed Mu Xin to get some water for her in the pond. He handed her 3 small bottles. They instantly head to the Auction House, they still have enough time before the Auction starts. Linyu made the arrangements and send 1 bottle for auction. He instructed the host to make this auction anonymously, as Yi Ling's orders. The staff was shocked and overly excited. They instantly agreed. One can already feel the spiritual energy inside the bottle, this spiritual water can never be faked. Now they will have two main items for Auction! Their Rongyu Auction House will surely rise, they thought. Since Linyu sent a very special item for auction, they decided to sent him and his servant to the second floor. So that they will have their own private room during the auction.

When everything was set, Linyu and Yi Ling was observing the crowd from the second floor. Yi Ling never talked out loud, ever since they got here in Feng Kingdom. She tried a bunch of times to change her voice during their way here, but she can never do it. Her voice was melodic and so maiden-like. She will only be able to change her voice by making a special concoction. Problem is, she is missing all the right herbs. She sighed. They can't even bid since they don't have money. She has to wait till the bottle get sold.

Out of nowhere, she bumped her head into the table. Linyu was startled.

"Master?" Linyu whispered, they were the only ones inside the room.

"I'm okay, just thinking about money." She rubbed her aching forehead.

"Ehhh?" Linyu was confused. Yi Ling shrugged her shoulders.

Before Linyu can say anything else, the host announced that they will now start the Auction. They also mentioned that aside from the Spiritual Sword that they got from the cave, they've just received another rare treasure that the audience will surely love. They said that the said item will be auctioned at the very last. The reasoning behind this is while a spiritual sword is extremely valuable, the spiritual water can be mix with anything. Meaning, there are endless results. Making it more expensive that the said Sword.

The audience was surprised! They all hoped that they brought enough money with them. Sweat formed in their foreheads and it slowly trickled down. They all came from far places. Some big name families sent envoys to buy the sword. Since there's only one winner for the sword, now they felt lucky to have another chance to get a different treasure.

Seeing the positive reactions from the audience, the host rubbed his chin and smirked.

This is going to be a happy night, he thought while looking towards Linyu and Yi Ling's room.
