Time passed by very quickly, and it was already a week later when Zeng Limei came to find him.

Just as Ling Xiaosu walked out of the convenience store, she was holding two large bags of food, some of which the crew wanted.

After being in the crew for so long, Ling Xiaosu felt that she was of no help, so when everyone suggested asking someone to go to a convenience store to buy some daily necessities, Ling Xiaosu volunteered to come to the convenience store.

Even though everyone only bought two or three, there were a hundred people in the crew. Adding them all together was a difficult task.

On the way back to the crew, Ling Xiaosu struggled to carry the two bags, stopping to rest from time to time.

If he had known earlier, he wouldn't have gotten himself into this situation. Ling Xiaosu thought to herself. Although she thought this way, she had no intention of regretting it.

Ling Xiaosu carried the bag as she walked back. Suddenly, she felt her hands lighten and she lost gravity.

”Let me help you carry it. You can't lift it by yourself.” An unfamiliar voice sounded from behind Ling Xiaosu. Ling Xiaosu was stunned for a few seconds before he turned around to look.

It was the person who had pulled her into the water last time.

Ling Xiaosu stared blankly at the man without any reaction.

”Where?” Yi Zheng didn't look Ling Xiaosu in the eye. He picked up the two large bags and walked in front of Ling Xiaosu.

After being called a few times by the man, Ling Xiaosu reacted by rushing forward to stop Yi Zheng's footsteps, ”Why are you here?” Shouldn't he still be in the hospital?

Yi Zheng looked at Ling Xiaosu Su's wary expression, his eyes darkening. He stammered, ”I-I was just trying to help you. I had no other intentions.”

”If …”

”I don't need a man who kidnapped me to help me.” Ling Xiaosu interrupted Yi Zheng and snatched the bag away from him.

”But I really want to help you. The bag is so heavy, how could a woman like you lift it?” Yi Zheng saw that Ling Xiaosu ignored him and turned to leave. On the surface, he was in a hurry to catch up to Ling Xiaosu and snatch the item from her hands.

Ling Xiaosu turned around and looked at Yi Zheng's extremely cautious face. The words that were about to come out of his mouth were forcefully swallowed into his stomach.

What did this man want to do? Could it be that just because I saved him once, he forgot about the matter of him abducting her?

”I won't do anything to hurt you again, I promise.” Afraid that Ling Xiaosu wouldn't believe him, Yi Zheng raised two of his fingers and looked into Ling Xiaosu's eyes.

This action attracted quite a few people on the street. Every person who walked past them had a curious look in their eyes, wondering if it was a couple arguing.

Ling Xiaosu sighed. The other party's sincerity had softened her heart and she had no choice but to believe him.

Ling Xiaosu shifted her gaze away, handing the bag in her hand to Yi Zheng. She coughed lightly, ”Could I trouble you to help me deliver it to the recording studio?”

Without being rejected, it was hard to tell if Yi Zheng was happy or not, but his eyes were a little excited as he received the bag.

Looking at Yi Zheng's expression, Ling Xiaosu had been wanting to ask ever since she saw him. Who gave him the money to do something? He just kept saying these words without saying it.

Arriving at the entrance of the film crew, Ling Xiaosu took the initiative to receive the two bags. She whispered a ”thank you” before turning around and walking away.
