The face of the heaven defying official was slightly red from the boiling hot tea. Ling Xiaosu anxiously wiped the tea off the face of the heaven defying official.

The Old Master was just looking on without saying anything, as if he was a bit dazed from seeing a heaven defying official's crimson face.

”Ling Xiaosu!” Suddenly, Chu Xiaoran, who was still feeling weak after walking downstairs, rushed forward with a pale face and raised her hand, wanting to slap Ling Xiaosu.

Ling Xiaosu closed her eyes out of instinct, but Chu Xiaoran's hand was grabbed by her wrist as if it was the first time it had not landed on her face.

Chu Xiaoran looked at Tian Chen in disbelief, ”Big brother Tian Chen, what are you thinking? Are you trying to protect this woman? Are you crazy?”

This was the first time Chu Xiaoran said such harsh words to a heaven defying official. In her eyes, a heaven defying official was simply insane.

”What's so good about her?” Chu Xiaoran's eyes suddenly turned red as she questioned a heaven defying official, ”She only cares about your money. She doesn't care about anything, do you know?”

Ling Xiaosu opened her eyes and stood motionlessly. She was stuck between Chu Xiaoran and him.

Suddenly, Old Man Chu stood up and walked over to the three with his walking stick. He looked at Chu Xiaoran with his muddy and energetic eyes, ”Xiaoran, is this enough? Let's go back!”

”Grandpa …” Chu Xiaoran looked at Old Man Chu in shock. Her eyes were pleading and her wrist, which had been grabbed by the heaven defying Chen, was slightly red.

Old man Chu didn't pay attention to the pleas in his granddaughter's eyes. He turned around and said to the old man sitting on the sofa, ”This matter has already been decided. We won't stay here any longer, let's go back now.”

With that, Old Man Chu turned back to look at Tian Chen, saying in a forceful tone, ”Ah Chen, let go!”

When the heaven defying official heard this, he let go of Chu Xiaoran's hand. However, his eyes were colder than before.

”Let's go.” Old Man Chu signalled to Chu Xiaoran as he slowly walked forward.

Chu Xiaoran tightly wrapped up her clothes and glared at Ling Xiaosu before she left. As she passed by Ling Xiaoran, she whispered into Ling Xiaosu's ear, ”Ling Xiaosu, I won't let you off!”

Ling Xiaosu did not think much of it. Of course, she knew that Chu Xiaoran would not let her off. It was the same whether she said it or not.

Now, the only ones left in the main hall were the heaven defying official, Ling Xiaosu and the people in the old residence.

”Since grandpa has nothing better to do, Xiaoxiao and I will be leaving first.” He reached out his hand and grabbed Ling Xiaosu's hand. Just as he was about to turn around and walk away, the old man called out from behind, ”Chen, are you really going to be with this woman?”

”The first time I brought Xiaoxiao over to see grandpa, I already said it. I believe that grandpa would already know what I wanted to say even if he didn't ask.”

With that, the old man sighed, then said, ”Since you insist on not realizing your mistake, then don't blame your grandfather for being merciless.”

”Dad …” He shouted nervously.

Am I going to be merciless and get A'Chen to hand over the company? Inverse Sea Might thought frantically in his heart.

”Whatever grandpa wants, I still say that I won't marry Chu Xiaoran. I won't marry her for the rest of my life.” As if swearing to prove it, the heaven defying official spoke and left the house holding Ling Xiaosu's hand.

Before the old man could reply to Inverse Sea Might, Inverse Sea interjected, ”Third Brother, that's not right. I think A'Chen really loves his fiancee, so it's not good for you guys to keep stopping him, right?”
