Ling Xiaosu wanted to scream for help, wanted to shout for help, but she could only let out a ”wuwu” sound.

A rough hand covered his nose and mouth. Ling Xiaosu slapped it with all her might as she tried to break free.

The man covered Ling Xiaosu's nose and mouth tightly as he dragged her into a dark alley.

A woman's strength could not compare to a man's. Ling Xiaosu struggled as she was dragged into a dark alley.

”Bam!” Ling Xiaosu was thrown to the ground.

Ling Xiaosu took a few deep breaths as she backed away until she reached the wall. Then, she looked at the person in front of her with fear in her eyes.

The fear in Ling Xiaosu's eyes was obvious, and her body trembled slightly.

The man who was covering Ling Xiaosu's nose and mouth walked out from the darkness. He slowly squatted down and laughed as he looked at Ling Xiaosu's frightened appearance.

Ling Xiaosu swallowed her saliva and asked with a tremble, ”Who … who are you? What do you want? ”

The man wore a black vest and had two shallow scars at the corners of his eyes. He just stared at Ling Xiaosu without saying a word.

Ling Xiaosu curled up her body in fear.

After falling to the ground for too long, Ling Xiaosu felt that her calves had gone numb. She must think of a way to escape.

”Why me? Give me a reason. ” Ling Xiaosu forced herself to calm down.

”Heh, woman, you're really a bit stupid. Do I need a reason to catch you?” The second brother looked at Ling Xiaosu and said, ”But I can tell you, you just need to know that we are just doing things for people and they are giving us money.”

The words of the number two were clearly heard by Ling Xiaosu as she thought to herself: This is someone trying to harm me.
