17 Chapter 15 Immortals Revenge Part 2 (1/2)

Miku who at the time when Yui was called over by Hideo while she was about to head somewhere has managed follow Yui secretly from a distance without her noticing at all.

She also saw the suit-wearing woman leaving the building and is currently hiding near the receptionist's desk trying to listen in on the two's conversation.

'What? My mentor is gonna be interviewed? That is indeed suspicious...'

Hideo now done speaking with Yui, he started walking towards one of the elevators on the first floor.

'I need to tell the others about this, she could be in trouble.'

She thought quickly running back to the dorms where the other girls are currently.

With her footsteps being clearly heard in the hallway of the dorms, she opened the door of the living room rather quickly...

”Mentor might be in trouble!”

The girls in the room got startled by Miku's suddenly loud voice making them turn around to see why she was shouting.

Starting with Akagi that got up from the sofa and asked: ”What do you mean Yui might be in trouble? What happened?”

Still in a panicked state, Miku quickly catches her breath with sweat covering her body.

”I secretly followed her to see out of curiousity where she was going but... I saw Hideo in the lobby telling Yui that there's a woman that came with a folder containing a list of possible new team members but the woman said that she wants to talk to her in exchange for the list.”

Everyone in the room started thinking about that kind of situation could get Yui hurt if that woman was a immortal pretending to just want to talk to Yui.

Shumizu grasped the whole situation pretty quickly, she started thinking of how they clould deal with that woman if she really is trying to take Yui out.

”D-Did he say when this talk is gonna happen?”

”He said that it's gonna be next week, he also said that they'll be doing it inside one of the interogation room with Hideo observing the woman.”

They were all now feeling paranoid from Miku's answer, with Kuro clenching her fists thinking of how suspicious this whole situation is.

”There's a big chance that she's working for that group that Yoshiteru is working for. We need to be near the interogation room in case something happens...”

Everyone nods in agreement without any objections.

Now with their plan decided they started planning out formations for apprehending if something were to happen on that day.

With the day of that talk arriving, the girls made it look like they just be in the dorms doing nothing until Akagi who was doing recon by the lobby using cloaking magic finds out which interogation room the talk is gonna be held in.

”Oh, You're finally here. The descendant of Tamamo no Mae, Yui is in one of the interogation rooms waiting for us.”

The voice of Hideo was clearly heard from the distance where Akagi was.

'The woman finally arrived, didn't expect her arrive so early...'

Hideo then continued saying to follow him, the woman upon hearing this from Hideo started smiling like she had just won something.

Akagi seeing them enter the interogating area of the building quickly but carefully to not make her footsteps audible follows them.

They entered the third room from the entrance of the area...

Now knowing which room it is, Akagi quickly deactivates her cloaking spell and quickly teleports in the dorms.

She told the others which room it was and they started their operation.

They are now just hanging around by the door of the said room trying to listen in to what was going on inside.

”I run a blog that focuses on japanese legends and since you're the descendant of Tamamo no Mae, I'd like to interview you.”

The voice of the suit-wearing woman could be heard from inside explaining why she wanted to talk to Yui.

The voice of Yui was next heard.

”A blog? What if people don't believe you?”

The woman heard laughingat Yui's remark.

”I don't care if they do or not. They important thing is I got to talk to you and interview you.”

'What a persistent human...'

Yui thought hearing the woman's answer to her two questions.

With Hideo giving Yui a nod she lets the interview comence.

The woman asks about various things like ”Are you an immortal fox spirit?”, ”I can see that you have five tails, but do the tail count of fox spirits of normal fox spirits apply to you too?”

'Is that woman stupid?' Kuro thought hearing the stupid sounding questions that Yui had recieved from her along with a soft snicker.

”Shh! They'll notice us...” Kanade whispered hearing Kuro's snickers.

The interview lasted for about two hours before the battery of the woman's micro recorder battery dying and she just decided to end the interview.

With the door of the interogation room creaking open, the girls quickly casted cloaking spells on themselves.
