Chapter 102: Lil Monke - Top One! (1/2)

The Regional Tournament happened every two months.

The Four Leaf World was accepting new players daily and a few of those would turn into big and promising figures for sure!

So it was certain that another tournament in two months would have other intriguing figures.

At this moment, the organizers would have spoken about other tournaments and what it meant to get into the top ten in the current regional tournament.

However, the circumstances were different this month and the guild behind this tournament could only thank the promising newbies for their help.

This guild was Bright Sun Sun.

The guild leader stepped forward and thanked everyone, ”Thank you for your cooperation and keeping this matter silent. We have prepared an appropriate sum to thank everyone for your stance... Though it will surely get leaked soon, I can only give this much.”

A few gold coins slipped into the players' accounts and their faces lit up in ecstasy! Gold was the highest currency and even just a few of them were useful for normal players.

For those who aimed high and possessed unique classes, this amount was nothing.

The top five eyes remained stoic and not much excitement entered their faces except for Michu!

He waved his hand and thanked, ”Thanks! You are a nice guy!” Money was money and he would treasure everything entering his account!

The guild leader coughed awkwardly, then said, ”You are top one, Michu... I wonder what reaction you will have after Excalibur lands in your hands. Haha!”

He was smiling because the suspicious matter wasn't exposed during the tournament! It could've hurt the viewership! And if it got exposed, the guild leader's expression would've been so bright right now!

After all, they weren't doing this tournament for enjoyment. It was just a small part of it as profit was what funneled them all this time.

Even to do this regional tournament, Bright Sun Sun Guild needed to fight for the spot with other guilds. It wasn't a battle with weapons, but a verbal battle with the game and other politics going on, so it was a hassle!

It all ended well, so the guild master spoke about the tournaments' differences, ”The Guild Tournaments and Regional Tournaments are different. In the former, all it matters is your affiliation to the guild, but in Regional Tournaments, your nationality matters.”

He carried on, ”All of you came here with different goals, but all of you gained recognition from others. Now, it was easy because of your abilities, but those abilities won't keep your interest should they stay the same.”

His words might be useless if they didn't care about fame and social media, but the properly managed fame could bring fortune to players. Everyone knew it, but numbers often muddled one's eyes and goal.

That was why he reminded those young players about it.

”If you have no fame, then just join the guild,” Kaiser chimed in with a little ego in his tone.

”Haha, yes. You will have a lot of people going after you now,” The Guild Leader laughed heartily, then said, ”There are so many choices open for you now that you became known. It's all up to you and I wish you the best.”

He turned heels and invited everyone to the stage! ”Another tournament for you will be around level 100. By then, you will have all three classes and some abilities evolved! A lot of people will look forward to it, including me. I hope I will see at least some of you! I would be able to say 'Hey, these players participated in a tournament hosted by me! Haha!'”

”No wonder your guild is called Bright Sun Sun.” Some players commented as such because the guild leader was a pretty bright person who laughed a lot! In a good mood, he always would be bright like sunshine!
