48 CHAPTER 48: My Alternate punishmen (1/2)
For some reason, Arseia changed her mind of spilling the beans to her eager son, so she just kept her mouth shut and nodded at Ru instead, trying to tell something in-between them. Ru nodded back in response. In turn, Zeran was dumbfounded of his mother's and Ru's secret agreement, although Arseia told him that he shall witness it later on. Afterwards, Zeran, Mai, Ru and Arseia were summoned back to the Celestia heavenly court. Though, there were no audience nor the presence of the dark Goddess judges instead, there was some kind of a stunning angelic male with pure white wings who's somewhat similar to an agent from the heavens above. More than that, beside him was Ange. Sadly, Ange was still chained with golden chains and she was looking-like an infuriated princess, while she was staring at Zeran and Ru with raging anger. Soon, the angel-like agent brought out his some kind of glass tablet with runic scriptures and he said to them,
”Now then, as per the absolute laws of the Celestia heavens...”
”dark Goddess Ruhime, What kind of punishment befits this light Goddess Angehime?”.
The air became quite tense, as the light Goddess Ange was about to receive her judgement from her Goddess counterpart. It seemed strange but, the laws of Celestia heavenly system treated the opposing Goddesses as equals such as the balance of light and dark. Ru closed her eyes and decided inside her thoughts, while her furry ears were twitching momentarily. Sooner or later, she opened her determined eyes and she replies,
”Hmmm...I'm thinking...letting her to be erased is such a harsh thing...”
”Instead I might suggest...”
”Her amazing powers will be brought down to LEVEL 1...”.
Ange's grudge on her face had dispersed, instead she wore a surpised expression, since Ru seemed to have forgiven her by giving her a very light punishment. The angelic agent smiled and said,
”I see...”
”Then finding a newer light Goddess won't be necessary at this moment...”.
”Anymore to add on?”.
The angelic agent felt that the punishment was too light aswell, since Ange also alarmed the Celestia heavens, so he asked Ru more to add upon. Ru looked above the clouds and touched her lips, while she was guessing in her thoughts. A little while later, she looked at the agent and said with a very sincere expression,
”Mai will be the balance Goddess of our world...”
”In order to keep the forces of light and darkness in check.”
”Since, she knows more about the said limits...”
”As she had witnessed those beforehand as a normal human and as a Goddess long before...”.
Mai was surprised since, she was somehow being rewarded, even though she felt to herself that she didn't do anything to help her close friend. Ru noticed that Mai was filled with guilt and doesn't want to accept her generous offer, so Ru gave off a supportive smile to Mai. As Mai took notice of Ru's motivational smile, Mai's painful guilt had ceased and she accepted Ru's offer with all her heart. Zeran was growing more and more surprised over the course of Ru's unexpected judgements, so he had convuluded thoughts, that was somehow lagging behind,
(”So this is the alternative punishment...but still...”).
Though, Zeran was pretty much shocked, since the punishment was too mild, especially for the cruel things that Ange had done to both of them before, so he asks Ru, as he was filled with doubts,
”Huh? Ru? Wasn't that too mild?”
”I mean just to level 1, while she still sits on top with her proud *ss?”.
Mai cracked out a haughty smile and joined-in the conversation,
”Zen...you underestimate the meaning of a level 1 Goddess...”
”Whence a Goddess is back to Level 1...”
”Meaning, her very home, powers, influence on the people etc. would be nearly gone...”.
Arseia added upon,
”It's like she's starting back at square one my dear son...”.
He posed like a kid who had understood the idea using the palm of his hand and mild fist, while he responds,
”So it's like you've been stripped out of your status then?”.
Mai replies,
”Yes...”.
Thereon, Zeran was in his clouded thoughts yet again and recalled some parts of his imaginative memories. Though, soon enough he expressed out his inner thoughts,
”Hmmm...since Ru gains her levels from her artifacts, how about Ange?”.
As Ru heard his doubtful question, she cracked out a sinister smile and went close to his space. Then, she said with an endearing tone,
”Hmmmmm...how do you think Nassus woke up my dear Zera?”.
Zeran replies,
”Don't tell me?!”.
Though, he already knew the answer inside his very head. In turn, he was very much surprised once again, since he was too astounded even in his own answers,
(”NO WAY ANGE IS LIKE THAT?!”)
(”NO WONDER SHE'S INFLUENTIAL! THE HEROES WERE GETTING LAID BY HER!”)
(”SHE'S A WORSE SLUT THAN MAI!”)
(”TOTALLY THE OPPOSITE OF RU!”).
Sooner or later, he calmed himself down and composed his nerves. Then, he asked more questions to Ru, regarding the other punishment, although he was looking nearly irritated instead,
”Okay...and what about Mai becoming a balance Goddess geez Ru explain this to me...”
”I only know of light Goddesses and dark Goddesses...”.
Ru sighed and explained to him using lots of gestures to let him understand them clearly, since she noticed that Zeran's knowledge of grasping information was pretty much slow,
”Well, balance Goddesses are something that eases-off the tensions of two opposing forces in their world...”
”And I've seen that in some worlds in different heavenly systems that they were better in this condition...”
”Also, since Mai helped us, I know she can keep everything in check of the light and darkness in our world...”
”Besides...you've seen what happened right, nor did Ange see on what was happening in our world...?”.
The angelic agent responded to Ru's requests previously,
”I see...note taken...then the world of HIMENEA will enter the TRITHEISTIC PHASE, another kind of POLYTHEISM...”
