13 CHAPTER 13: Floating cliffs (1/2)
A little while later, queen Fae pleaded with a pitiful face, that looked-like a very little girl worried over something and she said,
”He's been ignoring me...”
”And he doesn't love me anymore...”.
Mai was infuriated and her hand had clammored such as an iron ball ready to ram at something. Moreover, she was feeling the utter flaming rage in her thoughts aswell, that was even seeping in her angered look,
(”What the hell's wrong with you Zen...”)
(”For a thing, Fae's a better woman than me...”).
Queen Fae stood up and held Mai's burning fist. While Fae straight-up says in front of Mai with a sneaky smile that hindered her vain self but, she was also trying to get Mai's good side somehow,
”Since you're after him too...”
”Why not...try to stalk him out and find what's going on with him and his new lover...”.
Next, Fae brought out a small picture of Zeran and Ru together at a certain village in their exact image, that was very nice to see even for a dark Goddess and a fallen hero together. Though, for Mai she was fillled with seething wrath amplified by the annoyance in her look and thoughts, since she couldn't believe her very naked eyes,
(”Zen and Ru...”)
(”WHAT THE HELLS WRONG WITH YOU ZEN?!”)
(”WHY IN F*CKIN HELLS OF HELLS ARE YOU AFTER MY FRIENDS AND FORMER FRIENDS?!”).
Though, Mai didn't say anything on the outside. Instead, she swiped the picture from Fae's hand in an instant. Mai nodded and said with a convinced face with a blend of rage, proving her intense determination for the case of the two eccentric lovebirds,
”I'll stalk...no...”
”CATCH HIM REDHANDED!”.
Fae felt delighted with a smile that speaks a thousand words, as she heard Mai's detrmined response. Then, Fae replies with a grateful voice that depicted immense thankfulness,
”Thanks for this...Mai...”
”Don't worry...MAYBE we'll support your queen's and nation's endeavors this time...”.
While Fae left out a suspicious wink in her brimming eyes, that was sought only in a glimpse afterwards. Sadly, Mai didn't mind that wink since she doesn't care nor mind that expression. As they were done with their sort of friendly meeting, Mai left in a hurry, since she's very imposed on chasing the two weird lovebirds in her depiction. Though, she had some second thoughts and tried to recall the alarming thing Fae had said before,
(”Maybe? Why maybe?!”).
Soon, the fleeting and angelic feeling of the place Fae was in, had descended into the abyss, as it was now surrounded in the swelling air of chaos. As for the delightened Fae, she cracked out a demonic grin that was even more terrifying than the dark Goddess Ruhime herself, scarring Fae's pure maiden look with a vile woman's spire and thorns. Her humming of the desecrated dead had leaked out that would creep anyone out, beyond the dark Goddess would have done. Thereon, Fae let out her devious words,
”Hm-hm♪!”
”I never thought...it would be THAT easy to manipulate her...”
”I can't believe my acting skills were this good...”
”Now to meet those gullible men again...”.
Then, she let out a slutty act of her serpent tongue seeping into her slim fingers in her own warm saliva. Her eyes were radiating black devillish hearts acheing for grave intimacy, that'd make anyone to see her no longer as a divine maiden yet, as a white psychopathic succubus yearning for the bloodshed, desecration of her former lover, while she's getting laid by her several lovers for him to witness and destroy all of his sanity in the utmost nefarious levels of hell.
Meanwhile, in another occasion and a different place, Zeran and Ru continued their journey and took the northern route, while they had left the Ru plush doll at her home. Thereon, their very eyes laid upon the long-winding giant chasm that lacked rays of sunlight. The place was encroached and seeped in the faded decay of purple soil and green blighted swamp of deep fog. Walls of boundaries were cracking up fissures that spit out terror and isolation in a one-way route. Ominous and heavy air was felt all around, reeking out a demonic world. Zeran tries to recall the very name of the place,
”If I remember correctly...this is—”.
Though, Ru was faster in saying it,
”Deathsky chasm”.
Her words made Zeran to nod in respect. They had trodden along deeper unto the giant chasm, that seemed almost endless. For some reason, there were no signs of danger nor life, turning the place to be more mysterious and the feeling of hollow death was near their backs susceptibly. As they were still continuing to trudge along the silent paths of the place, they were now witnessing gigantic skulls and skeletal parts of grievious monsters protruding below the abyssal floor along the way, breathing the place more of a hell-like world and a total demonic place, crushing the light of hope. Though, the both of them weren't terrified to see those nefarious objects. Since, they already knew this place to begin with, during their previous individual travels. Zeran just felt a little suspicious about the place in his thoughts,
(”This is really a dangerous place...”)
