”The guards of the Gu family will naturally protect the safety of my master and his wife. It is not up to you, a steward, to insist that we are capable. How can you allow yourself to slander my master?” The sword that Gu Shisan was using to face the door did not move at all, it was so threatening that it stood right in front of him.

”This is the Yun Xiang Mansion!” The Housekeeper Liu warned.

After changing into his regular clothes, Gu Yicheng walked towards the bedside, raised the green cloth covering the bed and prepared to pretend to be taking care of someone. Just as he lifted the corner, he saw that under the dim candlelight, the beautiful person was staring at him with wide open eyes.

”I woke up just in time to get rid of the people outside.” Gu Yicheng's hand merely paused for a moment, and continued his actions.

Yun Qianliang stared at him for a long time before lifting up his body and stepping off the bed.

Yun Qianliang coldly snorted as she turned her head to look at the Housekeeper Liu and the guards outside the door. ”Housekeeper Liu brought a group of guards to my Xiao Sheng Yuan in the middle of the night.

Housekeeper Liu was so frightened by the scene that his legs went limp. He was barely able to stand after being supported by someone.
