Hearing Hu Nuo's words, Lin Yu's expression turned cold as he glared at the fatty.

”Tell your Manager Zhao to find me at the police station. I want him to give me a reasonable explanation.”

Hearing Lin Yu's words, the fatty fell to the ground. It seemed that he would not be able to keep this job.

”Nana, you know him?” Lin Yu asked curiously.

”Mn, Ling Feng is my friend, I got him to help grandfather with the treatment.” Hu Nuo said with a smile.

Ling Feng laughed and walked over: ”Officer Lin, this world is such a coincidence, we meet again.”

Looking at Ling Feng, Lin Yu suddenly remembered what happened between the two at the hotel that day, and his face couldn't help but turn red.

”Elder sister, you and Ling Feng are acquainted?” Hu Nuo asked curiously.

”Of course I know him. We're old friends.” Ling Feng laughed.

The three of them chatted as they walked into the building.

”Oh yeah, Hu Nuo, Wu Fei is back.” suddenly said as they reached the entrance of the building.

”Isn't he studying medicine abroad? ”Why are you back?” Hearing Lin Yu's words, Hu Nuo frowned.

The Wu and Zhao Families were old friends, and Wu Fei had grown up with them. The two elders had even made a joke about a baby marriage at a wine table, so Wu Fei always thought of himself as Hu Nuo's future husband.

However, when he grew up, Hu Nuo discovered that there was a huge difference in personality between him and Wu Fei, and thus felt that Wu Fei was having a worse and worse feeling.

When the three of them arrived at grandfather Hu Nuo's house, the decorations inside were extremely simple, to the point that it could even be described as shabby.

”Hu Nuo, what kind of official is your grandfather?” Ling Feng asked curiously.

”Grandpa was the secretary of the provincial Party before he retired.” Hu Nuo laughed.

”What?” Hearing Hu Nuo's words, Ling Feng couldn't help but be stunned.

In the beginning, Zhang Kang had threatened to not help Grandfather Hu Nuo cure her illness. Ling Feng had thought that Hu Nuo's grandfather was just an ordinary citizen, but he didn't think that she would actually be the secretary of the provincial government.

Hearing Hu Nuo's words, Ling Feng couldn't help but admire this old man that she hadn't even met.

Just then, the curtain to the door opened, and a young man wearing a white robe walked out.

”Nana, you missed me so much.” The young man said with a smile.

But Hu Nuo quickly broke free from the young man's embrace.

”Wu Fei, don't watch so many people!” Hu Nuo said with some dissatisfaction.

”So what? I've already told Grandpa Hu that I'll be engaged to you when I graduate in September.” Wu Fei said indifferently.

Hearing Wu Fei's words, Hu Nuo frowned and said: ”I'm sorry, but I don't have any plans to get married anytime soon.” While speaking, Hu Nuo pulled Ling Feng's arm and said: ”Ling Feng, let's go, I'll bring you to see grandfather.”

Seeing Hu Nuo and Ling Feng's somewhat intimate action, Wu Fei frowned, but reached out his hand to stop the two of them.

”He's a friend that I invited to treat grandpa.” Hu Nuo said indifferently.

”No, grandpa's illness is at a critical stage right now. I've already contacted experts from overseas and will take grandpa for surgery in a few days. You can't be reckless.” Wu Fei said coldly.

Just as the two of them were at a stalemate, the sound of coughing suddenly came from within the room.

”Nana is here, right? Come on in.”

With the old man's words, Wu Fei helplessly let Hu Nuo and Ling Feng in.

”Grandfather, are you alright?” Hu Nuo worriedly asked as she entered the room.

”It's alright. I feel much better recently.” Hu Lao patted Hu Nuo's head and said with a smile.

Ling Feng leaned at the door, looked at the old man, and could not help but frown.

”Grandfather heard from Wu Fei that he wants to bring you to see a doctor abroad.” Hu Nuo asked.

”Yup, Wu Fei just told me, but I don't want to go, the leaves are going to fall back to their roots, I don't want to die abroad.” Old man Hu said.

”Grandfather, I've already contacted Dr. Blues, he's a European cancer specialist. I've already passed on your case to him. According to him, there should be a 40% chance that you'll be cured.” Wu Fei advised.
